Haha, my first flight after flight-school was also on the Bischling (second landing). Kinda funny you decided to land downwind on this humongously large landing field, because I did the EXACT. SAME. THING. I think it's because the windsock's pole is bend, which is kinda misleading, depending from where you look at it. What's the first mountain? It looks so familiar but I can't quite make it out.
Any idea why you had to land downwind on the second landing? When I have to land downwind I usually try to slide a bit on my feet while flaring hard before running to reduce my speed as much as I can.
I'm a flatland pilot, the Mountains flights are new for me :) In flatlands, I always know the exact wind direction before landing. And yes, now I learned to slide and use the sliding :)
@@styx85 I swear, the windsocks showed another wind direction before I start filming 😅 PS I understood about windsocks... Of course, I have seen windsocks and they showed me "no wind" before I go to landing. But I was wrong. Stupid mistake, but funny...
I am a beginner pilot but as far as I know, you shouldn't play too much with the brakes while landing. On second landing, you applied and released the brakes which increased your speed and after that not enough altitude to slow down again. btw I've done the same thing like 10 times :)

@@TheGrundigg Nop, no windsocks, (only at winch starts, may be). Flatlands winds are more predictable and have +/- constantly direction.
