    Suppressed rage leaking all over the place. Identify that rage, you snip the fuse. It moves from the amygdala to the prefrontal cortex. Root of the buried rage? Being made to feel unwanted/a pain etc etc by parents decades ago. That hurt FESTERS. Name it, admit it, stop feeling ashamed. I feel grief for Adam. Core wound. He's walled-off from others.

    Men like Adam would have a problem in a room on his own. The neighbour should not have come out at the end after telling him to go as that just added fuel to the fire.

    It’s hard when you feel like you’re walking on egg shells with individuals like this. People who have a problem with everything and don’t deal with their own shit. I can imagine how hard it is to date someone who has such an adversarial relationship to everyone and everything.

    Both of these men are just alike. They rub each other the wrong way. Even the initial comment of “you don’t have outdoor space, do you?” could be interpreted as a dig at his social economic status. It certainly seems to have been perceived that way by someone who is insecure, and reacts in a violent manner when threatened. This is a very interesting dynamic. It’s difficult to know who is right, or wrong, if anyone even is.

    • @jaylamont2870

      The “I don’t need the prop” too was unnecessary. Barry was poking him intentionally

    • @donegal7

      I agree. I think it was unnecessary to refer to his 'outdoor space' etc. whether it was a sly dig or not it was a stupid thing to say.

      @@donegal7 I’ve lived in a flat before and of course you would like some outdoor space. You miss that especially when there’s good weather. Visiting someone who has that outdoor space is enjoyable, and it reminds you how good it is to have that luxury. To make the comment is very passive aggressive IMO. Although, I did discuss this with my girlfriend and she thought the guy overreacted to the comment. As I said in my initial comment a year ago, it’s difficult to know who is in the right or wrong here.

    Don't get me wrong, Adam had some srs control issues in this episode, and also played his part in angering the host. But the male host was way too judgemental and being a prick as soon as adam mentioned the 'be kind, share' sign. Asks for no negativity in the house, but is the one who causes the negative energy and makes it awkward.

    • @BBalllegend1000
      @BBalllegend1000 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Exactly! Yes Adam is clearly a loose cannon and most likely a nutter, however the BBQ host instigated the entire confrontation and was purposefully gaslighting Adam and pushing his buttons in a discreet way. Even came to the car to laugh at him. Nah he's looking for a fight, he helped cause that negative energy

      @@BBalllegend1000 very true. its been a while since i saw this clip and left that comment but i just rewatched it and it annoyed me again lmao. ppl like that who act all high and righteous 'i dont want trouble' are always the biggest instigators in those sly little ways.

      @@LauraBidingCitizen it seems like an outdoor space might be seen as a luxury where they are at. We also appear to be coming into the story part way so there was probably a certain amount of pomp.
