- The centre locking had stopped working on our mazda 6 so the through I would help out and make a video on how I sorted it out.

hey mate, i got a mazda 6 2006 model. all doors lock, but the front passenger doesnt respond to the remote locking/ turning the key in the drivers door, so i have to manually flick the lock from the inside of the car before i lock the car from the outside. is this an issue with the wiring of the car?

Do you know what is the purpose of that smaller white thing with blue and black wire? What are they for? Because i blught wrong door lock without that slot, there is slot only for bigger one 🤦♂️ i thought that is for connecting driver door with others when u use remote locking, because from that point when i installed it, driver doors couldnt be locked/unlocked on remote, i had to do that with key, and all other doors worked on remote, and i was doing that for like 1 year, but now i have new problem, when i unlock on remote, driver doors will get locked and all other will be unlocked, i dont know how to fix that, where is problem..

Great, my old left front actuator was broken I did replacement but new one is not working properly, when I lock doors this door is unlocking do you know why is this happening, thank you
You might have to test the plug and wiring now
@@downtheshedwithbyron thank you for the answer plug and wiring are good you mean problem is on the central brain, what about after market part might it be broken
If its testing ok at the plug try another actuator

I wonder if anyone has swapped their door lock cylinder if replacing a rusty or damaged driver’s door?

Yep, I did. It is really simple, if you can do what is on this video, you can replace lock cylinder too :) There is only one screw holding the cylinder, then you need to turn it like 15-20 degrees clockwise, and thats it :)
