Quick Tip: Make sure you toggle x-ray by clicking a button somewhere at the top right or pressing Alt + Z on your keyboard to make cutting the bottom half of the sphere or anything a little easier.
9:58 that’s a slow way of deleting the lower half, in the top right, if you click the frame circle thingy left of the solid circle, you can see through the entire thing and select the entire bottom half in one go
4:17 u can also just inset the face then extrude it, its way easier 9:48 u can also click ALT + Z then press 1 on ur numbpad and select the bottom half at once
if you're struggling at around 6:50 with the UV Editing, you can see the colours if you go to 'viewpoint shading' which is in layout, like he said at 7:18

I like this upcoming update. However I feel like you should still need to apply for ugc to publish / sell your ugc so that the marketplace wont get filled with stupid crap like cubes.

tip: if you do shade smooth, and it looks TOO smooth, you can go to the upside-down green triangle thing (if my memory’s right) and click “Normals”, and click “Auto Smooth” and you will be able to choose how smooth it is!

HOW TO FIX UV EDITING: If blank, just select your texture from the dropdown. If there's no wrap shape, press "A" to select all edges and the wrap will show up.

On UV edting you can right click and press on 'project from view' it would make easier to line up with textures and staff
but the back of the head!! this is why you should mark UV seams

I hope roblox makes filtering for UGCs possible as to remove inappropriate models like what already is happening to {shirts/tshirts/pants (legacy)}

I ran into a problem, for the top hat when you add the art pic it ends up as just blank and no change color On 6:49
You actually need to turn on "Viewport shading" he said that later in the video I ran into the same problem :)

heres a tip if your going for a classic tophat use smooth shading on it
