Rienzie the tie-up firm for the insurance protection is underwritten by BPI-Philam. Also for BPI Family Savings bank the BPI Pamana's initial deposit is only P5,000 so that's another affordable alternative than regular BPI, especially for those who are still building up their wealth. This a good way where to put my excess fund especially if reaches my expected amount. Definitely I will consider this.

Sir FItz and Rienzie, how about as BPI direct save up which is 10x ng ADB yung insurance, mukhang maganda yun e, balak ko pong mag open kame ng misis ko ng bukod which yung laman e emergency fund namin.
Saka ok Lang ba yun sa isang breadwinner like me kesa kumuha ako ng term insurance？ nalilito pa kase ako kung term ba o yung sa bpi with insurance.

meron din sa kabayan savings ng bdo para lang sa mga ofw.. pero mas ok po ata tong bpi kasi ung kabayan savings half lang ng pera mo ang covered ng insurance.. tapos kelangan may 6 remitances ka every year.. ask lang po ito po bang bpi pamana.. wala pong hinihinging terms para di mawala ung coverage ng insurance bukod sa maintaining balance na 25k mga boss?

D security bank's coverage is just equal to ur adb as compared with save up of bpi family bank whc is 5x life insurance and 10x if death is by accident. D pamana life insurance overage is 3x ur adb. Save up is d best.

just for confirmation, if you have P500,000 cash deposit in your BPI Pamana Account then suddenly I passed away so my beneficiaries will receive P500 , 000 x 3=P1,500,000 (subject to bpi terms)?

yes, you can since it is basically a savings account.
parang magaling nga itong product na ito. essentially say if you have 250K parked there for some time, and you die...the bank gives you back 3x250K=750K. hmmm..Okay...Im headed there ASAP and as for Security Bank im converting my existing account there to their SB All Access.

Security Bank has the same set up

no, it would not be advisable: remember that loan payment is constant every month while the stock market movement varies--the Great Recession of 2008 took the marker between 2-3 years before it goes up again.
