Fritz and Reinze, pls talk about how an investor can protect his investments in UITF, MF or stocks in times of untimely demise of the investor. What strategies should be done before investing? In other insurances you need to identify the beneficiary in the contract, whereas in UITF, MF or stocks, or bank accounts it has none. I am sure this topic would be helpful to everyone. Oo nga. Pwede po ba yong anong top performing pooled funds, and compare UITF with Mutual Fund Performance. Baka depende din ang earnings mo dito sa funds sa abilidad ng Fund Managers.
Yes, we can do that one time. And yes, the ability of fund managers is also a factor. But since fund managers do change often, it is the Investment Philosophy of the institution that will largely determine the performance of the fund.
Mga Ser, salamat ng marami sa mga videos nyo sobrang nakatulong mag decide sakin na pumasok mag invest. Request lang po baka po pwedeng tuckle niyo naman ung deeper understanding sa Equity Index Fund. Example sa COL Financial. Ung fund manager ba nila is safe na hindi kami babawasan ng comission if ever ganu kaya kalaki un gbinabawas nila.

COL Financial usually does not have an entry fee that would be deducted from your investment. As for the Management fee, it is already deducted from the price that you have bought, so no need to worry.

Good day! I have BPI Global Fund-of-Funds, BPI US Dollar Short Term Fund, and ALFM Dollar Bond Fund at lahat po ito ay US dollars. my questions are: 1. Is it advisable na magdagdag ng investment s mga ito or better n mag open ng another investment like stock market (2k USD lang po ang ininvest ko bawat isa) 2. Is it ok po ba to put your emergency fund in UITF?
No. Emergency funds should not be in anything volatile. Best places to lodge an eFund is in a high yield savings account (ING, CIMB), time deposit in a local bank (in one month, 3 months, or 1 year tenor), or liquid cash. Always go back to the concept of an eFund and you'll know what to do.

Good day! Min holding period sa bdo equity funds is 30 days. So for example right after 30 days tumaas ang navpu puwede po ba iwithdraw ko lang is yung roi ko? Pero yung units hindi as in hindi ko siya iwi-withdraw ng lahat. Thanks in advance.

the holding period only means if you withdraw before that, you get a penalty. if not, you can just continue holding on to your units and let the price per unit grow over time.
Are investors of UITF entitled with dividends?
We still have yet to see a UITF that pays out dividends here in the Philippines--or even mutual funds. But nonetheless, should the stocks that the UITF invests in receive dividends, they re-invest it again in the market to make your money grow even further.

PARKing depends on the amount you are targetting, your available resources and the investment return you have.
For example, to have 1M in 10 years, you have to invest P4882 per month for the next 10 yrs in an investment giving 10% per year or a one-time investment of P385.5k in the same investment for the same number of years.
Now the question is: which of the two can you do?
Im targeting 300k in 1 year, how much would i invest in one time or monthly?
if it's in one year's time, no need to invest--just straight savings. just stash away 300k one-time or divide 300k by 12 to get the monthly.
