This game still doesn't have a time trial mode or replays btw. Let that sink in. It's also nigh impossible to tell which track variant you're racing on in MP before the start.
So a pretty good rule of thumb for most racing games that have less downtime between races is that tracks should be at or under 3 minutes, but over 1 minute 40 seconds. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe goes by this rule pretty well since items slow the game down enough to where races last a good amount of time. I'm glad you mentioned queue times for Champion and higher because the downtime between races gets so long, and short tracks makes it so much worse. I 100% agree with you on how much time a track should take to complete and the box amount. Maybe a hot take on the Toon Village track with the 3 split paths you mentioned; I'd remove that grind rail, it's just too good to pass up. I genuinely wish the devs would see this data in your video, but I think making content is their priority right now over balance. Maybe next season they'll get some data and make adjustments to the tracks.
IMO they should make even longer tracks/more laps per track for lvl 40+ lobbies. I simply hate when playing around lvl 45-ish and getting those ridiculous 30s races. Some of those reasonable racers also become sub 1 min for high levels and it's just terrible
Sweet Delight Speedway, sure is a really LOONG track, and when someone gets into the moment that is pretty far behind and cant reach the other racers, pisses me off
I finally fixed my mic audio! What do you think!?
It sounds so good! Great quality! 😁👍
@Mc_Nooget now you sound as fluffly as you look

it's a kart racer, so I think all tracks being different in insane ways just works

HERE IS A LINK TO MY FEEDBACK ON THE MATTER

yeah i do getcha. it can be annoying
The maps are kinda shit. They look great but there isn't much nuance to them. Where's my Tiny Arena? Where's my Cortex Castle? You get me.
some maps with shortcuts would be nice. they have many other games to copy from
