I've seen the runaways show on Hulu and I liked it though there are a ton of differences 1. Karolina's dad is an alien the mom is human 2. They fought only aliens and a witch and an evil version of one of them from the future 3. Molly's parents died 4. Nico's mom does magic the Dad does jack squat 5. They didn't give themselves superhero names

Runaways was truly ahead of its time tbh. It was able to establish a diverse cast of characters with such high quality writing that current marvel wish they could apply that to their mainline books. (Spoiler alert: outside of Ms. Marvel and Miles, they never will unless they get better writers)
Lockjaw While Cho is written by a very good Hulk writer, all he seems to want to do is write random stories and not care for an overarching plot. So he's not that good

Personally, I felt that the main plot of S3 with Morgan le Fay was great. However, it felt like they knew they were going to have to end their show and they tried to wrap up a whole lot of stuff and give too many glimpses at the (literal) future instead of just focusing on their season. With trying to juggle too much, some of it felt rushed to me.
When I first read this in high school, I was blown away. The dialogue was solid, the characters were grounded, and the plot moved in an excellent way. Glad this series decided to cover them.
All these animated characters look like the characters on the show except Molly. Gert parents time travel (spoiler if you haven’t seen it yet ) they don’t on the show. Molly’s parents are alive? Not on the show. No Vampires on the show either
That's because this video is talking about the comic books, where Molly is white and Gert's parents got Old Lace through time travel. Also, Victor Mancha, the dude with powers similar to Molly in season 2, he was a vampire in the comics.
