The shield ray is actually low key OP. Setting up one at each level stops the critters in their tracks until they can break through. All the while your weapons are shredding them.
A word of advice, its better to have your dot and aoe turrets towards the top of the shaft. The dot ones because it goves more time for those effects to trigger and deal damage, and the aoe ones because the enemies spawn clumped together. Edit: For even better efficiency, place a shield turret down at the top alongside the the AOE turrets (make sure the shield is lower than the the AOE turrets to maximize their range) in order to force them to clump up even further, massively increasing the efficiency of your AOE.
Pink stone is called swarmlit you could have had a factory to make it passively early but you rerolled 😓😓 Helpful Tip; you get 100% resources refunded on everything (including if you demolish upgraded turrets), and there’s no build delay (abuse this 👌) if you demolish the factories and other non essential buildings you can add more defences during night and swap back during day Resources cheat sheet 😁👍 Blue stone - iron = basic resource Pink stone - swarmlit = advanced resource Black stone - coal = progression resource Green vial - upgrade = choice of random tower/gun Yellow stone = upgrades between games
I'm pretty sure another iron factory just makes the first one faster. also swarmlit(pink stuff) factory is amazing because swarmlit is quite rare and you need it for many upgrades and buildings.
The green capsule items are the random upgrades you get.. You can also really the guards with the middle mouse button.. The shield array can give you a nice blocker and absorption shield.. Nice, at the bottom of the wall sections.. 💚
Putting the poison at the END of the 'track' is always not smart, you should put the poison stuff at the top where the enemies have to travel for a while so the poison has the most amount of time to accumulate and deal damage
make a laser at the bottom so when a bug escapes the machine gun who misses and takes a bit before the bug dies will be replaced by a laser that instantly demolishes the bug without the bug hurting any of the miners as much
Slight trick with your first two turrets. The free turrets apply to any you have unlocked so if you can nab some green upgrades and score a good weapon before the first night starts you can install those for free instead of one of the two starter turrets.
They melt the planet's core so they can activate planet's magnetic field. That's why in the end you can see aurora around the planet. Planet's magnetic field helps to protect life.

Honestly I can't tell if I like this or Dome Keeper more, they both seem very similar, but at the same, time very different.
The freezing ability should be used when you are over run to spread out the enemy amount, not when you're ok as it tends to concentrate enemies

I have a feeling that going all rocket watchtower, machine guns and a shield is OP. Replacing the rocket watchtower with all drones.
