Ahnald I can see some droid Synergy. Extra 10% defense penetration. Which T3 has a zeta which shares 100% of his defense pen with everyone. So that will count for more.
I usually go for either Warrior or Arhnald for reveals, but this time I came here for the legal backgroud that's necessary to understand and discuss the kit.
C3POs kit summary:
He gives his teammates every single buff
He applies every debuff on his opponent
He gives all allies boosted stats, *DOUBLED FOR EWOKS*
too bad I wont be able to get him still trying to farm revan characters
I need to get Revan then chewier and then I’ll focus on the stupid murder bears
You boys realize that the most likely team needed for a RotJ Luke event/heroes journey would be CLS, Raid Han, OT.Chewie, R2-D2 & C-3PO.
Winterydee yes I do. but that doesn’t change the fact I can’t panic farm 5 Ewoks to 7 stars and gear them for a difficult event in a short amount of time. I wasn’t able to do it for Revan either so I’m finishing those and I’ll add Ewoks onto the list of farms

In about 6 months "Hi holotable hero's! We noticed c3po had a bug where he was almost a viable counter to Revan. We nerfed him into the ground just in time for the community at large to gain access to him. Plus we gave Revan a 30% offense bonus."

I like his theme with the protocol droid, translation and confusion thing. Unfortunately though Yoda spreads so much bloody tenacity up, and Revan teams have like 50 cleanses, idk if it's gonna be possible to keep confusion up. Still excited though about testing my ewoks, tired of Revan arena grind.

Don't know why I'm so surprised I just did not think he would be this good of a character. Only in swgoh could I be more excited for C3PO then I was for Revan.....mind blown.
If there’s anything that should be killing Revan teams in Arena....
....it should be a Grievous rework and NOT a golden Protocol Droid.

Funny thing about C3PO; he has a blaster on top of his head. He even used it once in the Droids cartoon in the 80’s.

I agree but hermit yoda is a big part of Luke's empire journey.. And the first hero journey followed his story from New hope.

Might require all of them. CG would totally do something like that. I mean look at Vet Han Solo. we needed him at 7 stars and he was in only 1 bloody tier. i wouldnt doubt the greedy scumbags would force us to get Cls, Han, OG chewie, CPO, R2, Hermit Yoda, Rolo, Mon Mothma and 2 Marquee toons that arent even released yet. Remember, Jedi Luke will be the Mt Everest of pay walls.

I think that it is laying the foundation for Jedi Skywalker. You have had Chewy, Han, R2D2 and CP30. Seems interesting.
I think one thing that would be really beneficial to everyone struggling with their Ewoks would be if you could show how you personally modded your Ewok team for the event! I always tinker with mods but could definitely use help with this coming event! Thanks for all the great content Ahhaldt!

Got my 7* 3P0 using a very weird setup. G8 zChirpa, G11 Elder, G10 Wicket, G10 Ewok Scout, and G9 Logray. Wicket and Scout were around 240 speed, everyone else around 190. My Paploo at G9 couldn't take the beating so I switched in Scout. With allot of luck I got him after about 20 tries total. Order was Commando, Chewie, R2, Han, Leia, 3P0.
I like that they split out each unique instead of assaulting us with one giant wall of text to decipher.

Holy crap. Ewok meta incomming. With C3PO on an Ewok team, they will have 70% def penetration, 70% potency, 70% crit dmg, and expose on basic when they have 3 stacks of Translation. Wow. And Cool down reductions/increases flying around; under a Chirpa lead all the basics....

With the Galactic Republic bonuses, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get more Clone Wars content in January. I’ve got my fingers crossed for an Anakin rework and Padme.
Droids would get the general bonuses that C3PO would dish out to all allies of any sort, but yeah, it is weird they didn't give him a specific droid boost. But then that may be future zeta material. 😅
I really don't want to farm ewoks.. to get C3PO.. but he'll probably be needed for some Jedi Luke event... So I won't farm Ewoks now, but maybe later... when I find out who he'll unlock

Not related to C-3PO, but I was walking home from school an hour ago and when I was walking I stepped over glass. So one glass piece decided to literally go straight up through the bottom of my shoe and stab me also. So now I'm halfway home, I'm bleeding like crazy and I keep getting stabbed when I'm walking home. I also tried to pull it out with my finger but it cut my finger so now I'm bleeding everywhere. Anyways, moral of the story I got home from school an hour ago, and there's blood all over my foot and shoe and I'm still bleeding, along with my finger. Anyways, great video like always!! I enjoyed it while washing my foot lmao.

I'm not sure they needed to add droids to C3PO's unique abilities. His Droid tag means other droids will make him work with them. I know chopper may not be too great but he assists droids, gives them buffs, and reduces CDs. With them two, your Droid team will have very little cool down time on specials.
I think it would have been cool if they released C-3PO as a combined character with Chewbacca. Chewie is carrying C-3PO on his back like in The Empire Strikes Back. Then you get 2 characters in 1. C-3PO has support abilities and Chewie has attack abilities.
I prefer Grievous as a sidekick.

C3PO spent vastly more time with resistance, rebels, and galactic republic people than he spent with droids except for R2D2 so thematically it makes sense to not have alot of synergy directly with droids.
I like splitting up the faction bonuses into separate unique, thought it sucks for the omega mats. R2 benefits from every unique; that seems amazing! I’m guessing C-3PO will go best with 4 Ewoks OR R2 plus three Republic/Rebel/Resistance.

He's everything I was hoping for, and THEN SOME besides that! I LOVE it.
( I understand your disappointment that he has no droid synergy outside of R2, but honestly, he really never got on with any other droids he met in the movies as I recall, so that's actually pretty on point for him I'd say. )
I thought he would have more synergy with R2D2, maybe an ability that only worked if R2D2 was present.
I like how he works a lot! They're clearly trying to get Ewoks back into the game too. And I don't think that he should necessarily have big synergy with droids. He's a protocol droid, his number one job is to help living creatures, not work with droids!
I didn't think they could do it, but they did it. They actually took a non-combatant like C-3PO and not only made him functional, it looks like they made him pretty amazing for this game. It looks a little too over-powered right now, but maybe that's the reward for farming Ewoks. However Ahnald, your complaint about things being too complicated, I think is personified quite well in C-3PO himself. I need to read like 5 more times his kit lol before I can even understand it. As someone who personally whaled on Revan, I'm a bit nervous about how he will play against them, however on the other hand I understand why he's made the way he is. I hope as a purchaser of Revan that I'll still have uses for him, after only recently slaping his third zeta on

Unfortunate that I’ll be unable to get him this time, but it could be interesting to see what team compositions come out of this, that is with the hope that it’s not just a bunch of copy and paste teams left and right, then it would just be boring again.
They're killing the game, honestly. The kit was broken up so each ability wouldn't be a wall of text. Instead it's a 7 ability resource sink wall of text. Instead of 40, maybe 50 omega mats (2 zetas, right?) now he's gonna soak up nearly 75 if I'm lucky... Power creep is ridiculous. And this is just another example of it.
