From the small jazz stage of Norway and now to the biggest stages of the world... Words are not enough to say how proud I am of her. And yes the barefeet still fits even at one of the most luxurious stages in the world. And we all know she's just starting... Wherever she's happy I'm happy for her.
For those criticizing her mgt team consider this: she just sang to about 300 million folks , most of whom have the brains to understand this young lady just made a poor song palatable in less than perfect conditions. I say kudos to Republic Records and bravo AJ!!
She didnt sound like herself/with her special warm and layered voice, and to be honest it seemed like playback, cause I have now listened to the orig8nal video of the performance and the sound was so weird. Like it was fading in and out (especially in the last part). If thats the case I dont know if she showed her «best» side by doing this… They didnt even say where she is from or her age when they presented her..
what's wrong with you people? It's FIFA Awards night. It's not Angelina's concert. This is one of her biggest nights....thank you for clouding it with your unfounded complaints. Angelina's world don't just revolve around the people like you.. She has the whole world to cater. Not just her old fans... But most importantly her generation. It was a beautiful song that the younger generation can sing along with. Stop complaining about the song and just be proud of her. If it's not your taste then it's not. I watched this live and was mad they had the back track so loud you couldn't hear Angelina most the time. This would have been better with just Angelina and Redone with his guitar. Sound man dropped the ball....his pre recorded back track had reverb and digital delay and he / iShe doubled it with the line feed for the live sound and back track . The millisecond settings were out of sync causing excess effects volume and effect dustortion...shocking they couldn't correct the issue.

Hi Leo, many views, but I miss your comments. However, here's some of mine after watching the whole show: Great tribute to Pele. Ronaldo needs a new suit. Loved that Argentine supporter. AJ owned that stage and sounded amazing. AJs voice suits everything, singing pop music is like a children ski race for her (a Norwegian saying). Great chemistry with her singing partner, first time I hear her sing a duet. AJ looked so comfortable singing for the world. Messi's expression was like mine the first time I saw her live in Concert: pure admiration of the incredible talent. Mbappe looked like he wanted to switch phone numbers. The sound!! My hunch is that the sound for the audience was ‘off’ and may explain some of the strange reactions. The streaming audio feed was atrocious with 3 major sections mishandled. But 300m viewed it so all good then.
@@luis3mgm It was extremely clumsy and unprofessional. My experience is that engineers who major in conference audio environments don’t handle music balancing very well. This may or may not have been the case here but it wrecked the scene for me simply as a listener. I’ll try and fix it.

Saw the video of this - awesome, AJ is all class and her voice is raw and needs none of the tricks the other singer used. Being barefooted only exaggerated her height and emphasized how striking and statuesque she has become - and still only 17 yrs old. Let's hope the industry does not destroy her as it has with so many others who have given up their morale compass for fame and fortune.

It's pretty apparent the audience did not come for the music, almost to the point of being rude. Really not much to say about the dumb lyrics, so I won't, but my joy is in the spectacular young lady singing, no matter the lyrics. She was just wonderful, and I am so happy for her with all this exposure, letting the world see, giving them just a taste of her extraordinary year to come with that album release. Seems the mixer tried to sync the audio on broadcast /stream with the venue return audio, but the audio delay for broadcast was very large.

Saw the video of this - awesome, AJ is all class and her voice is raw and needs none of the tricks the other singer used. Being barefooted only exaggerated her height and emphasized how striking and statuesque she has become - and still only 17 yrs old. Let's hope the industry does not destroy her as it has with so many others who have given up their morale compass for fame and fortune.

It's pretty apparent the audience did not come for the music, almost to the point of being rude. Really not much to say about the dumb lyrics, so I won't, but my joy is in the spectacular young lady singing, no matter the lyrics. She was just wonderful, and I am so happy for her with all this exposure, letting the world see, giving them just a taste of her extraordinary year to come with that album release. And in spite of the dumb lyrics, I love the song!

Firstly the song is not terrible, it’s just terrible for those so called fans that want to keep her in their time warp! She’s a young lady who like all genres of music. Let her live her life and stop trying to live it for her. If you don’t like it, move on!
It was a good song... Everybody can sing along with it. The only complain is the sound mixing towards the end. I would love to have a clean cut of this song of course with Angelina still being the vocal. I understand Redone made the song exclusively for FIFA so basically anyone can sing it.
