In your older videos you would cook a bangin meal after a day on the trap line. I used to like that and it added some variety. Bring back the Kusk cabin kitchen!
Nice day and fun in the woods brother. When everything works out it's a blessing, it shows in your exuberance. That'll be a sweet line to run once all set, surprises at the end a plus. Nice catch and more surely to come. Thanks for the trip. God bless.
good stuff! always enjoy your explanations of why certain decisions are made regarding what is trapped and why. I'm a zoology student who often spends long hours in labs full of dusty academics who would condemn hunting and trapping as a practice, but i think differently, and i will always appreciate the respect and ethos with which you go about the harvest of meat and fur. best of luck on wolves!
That marten is a good looking critter. And wow, the Cold Moon when you finally made it to the east line was a sight to behold. Some prime looking country! Great video!
My god man, would I love to forage those GORGEOUS forests in the fall...WOW. Also - I've been watching for a while and I don't think I've ever seen you soooooo HAPPY! Man, good on you. Love what you do and keep showing us HAHA!
Thats my boy !!! Still on the line!!! Me too, but marten closed Dec. 1st. Still hitting yotes, beaver, mink etc… All the best this Holiday season!! Tight chains ol buddy!!
Yes, I ran all 4 tires with V bar chains on my Yamaha Wolverine years ago. We did alot of winter riding back then and as long as we ran all the trails after heavy snowfalls nothing could stop us.
Should you get a chance could you show us how you of skin what you catch. I'd like to know a little more about doing the hides, we have beavers out here
Good work! I've done many rides in the snow and the main problem we ran into was getting high centered on the frame not a traction issue... Quads are just too darn heavy and don't have a track like a snowmobile. (chains never really helped) Good luck🤞
Good vids. Need to suggest something though... why dont you make longer vids? It seems your timelines are very short in length. Maybe go several days with each of your videos? If possible. Would like to watch longer vids showing more details of what your trapping and the environment you folks are dealing with up north. Thanks again for all your good vids. Look forward to watching them.
Ive never done trapping but I love watching all yall out there running around the lines. Yall really get to know a piece of the woods well.
Great catch Ryley
Way to go Riley whoooooo 👍😁🤙🤙🤙
Thanks for your continued posting. Looking forward to more videos.
La relève est assurée avec un jeune comme toi TOM.. OAR a fait se travail toute sa vie maintenant il a 80 ans toujours en Alaska dans sa cabane
That lynx urinating on the trap has some kind of humour. 🤔😉
Thanks for sharing your trapping adventures
God bless you
I love and feel your excitement! Good catch.

Thanks Ryley!! I'm hoping you have a very successful season this winter! I'm hoping you find a good snowmobile and sled to make it easier for you!!
Thanks Ryley, and stay wild.

Utter chaos at that first set. Fun video!
What a fantastic video. Your enthusiasm is contagious!

Any reason not to use chains on the quad tires for running your line in the winter?
How many km is your line one way
Not what I expected. A mother lynx with a young one, and you’re going after her?
Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
Do you have registered lines? If so, wouldn't it be illegal for someone else to be trapping on it?
You don't want to set for a lynk with little one you will be out of fur before long and if catch the mom she will have a weak belly
Please excuse my ignorance, is a martin like a weasel or a raccoon? Something else? Not familiar
Martin are in the mustelid family same as weasels wolverine otter m ink and skunks
Thanks for sharing with us!! Very interesting to watch!!
