- Hello Friends! Come along with me for a behind the scenes look into a Market Day with me. Before the market I will be working on my mock set up, making price signs and using a tag gun for the first time. Everyone needs a tag gun, lol. I will also be sharing with you a list of what every vendor needs for an outdoor market.

This is the most important and reasonable video I have ever seen. All your suggestions are spot on. I'm 84 have sold at craft shows never got rich and always worked a regular job. Did make money and was happy to share my crafts and make enough to pay a couple bills plus buy more supplies. Asking people today to pay you and hour wages plus plus plus is simply cutting your own profits. You have to lov what you do and love sharing without all the strings attached Love ALL your items Hats are creative and stunning Thank you for sharing your wisdom

I loved seeing all the different character hats you've made and the range you have. I really hope you are able to make a book with all your patterns because i am dying to make the unicorn and frozen hats for my goddaughter. Shes five and would lose it over them. I could see her going to bed wearing them shed love it so much made by her Auntie. Please keep making your content. I love all the baby makes, they are my favorite to create too. I am learning so much!

Oh the Ohio rain, ugh! 😅 Loved this video and the way you keep it real for us. Can I ask, do you use Bernat for your car swings and keychains? I want to make some, but I am afraid they will get too big. I am definitely a Bernat girly!
Yes, I do use Bernat for the car swings. The majority of the keychains I do as well, except for the mushy pops. Those I use the Sweet Snuggles Lite from Michaels. It is the best for those. Thank you so much for watching and supporting me. Much love to you!

Making the character hats reminds me so much of what I crocheted when I first started my business 10 years ago. The owl hats are so so popular. I no longer make them, but seeing all the hats hung up brought back some nostalgia for me. 🫶
My mom is the sweetest. I see that you have def switched it up from making character hats, lol. I love watching your videos. It seems like we like to make a lot of the same things, although I'd really like to know the pattern for the chicken and egg you sell. I thought it was the Oak & Marlow, but that pattern is much smaller it seems. Did you make the pattern yourself? I'm starting to think I'm going to have to make my own to make it bigger. I’m doing my first summer show in years this July 😬😬 it’s a 3 day show & I’m SOOOOOO worried! 😳🤦🏻♀️ Normally my biggest sellers are Hats, Shawls & ponchos! 🤦🏻♀️ Not the things people will purchase in July.
So I’ve made a bunch of plushies, bandanas, keychains & my tried & true catnip toys🐈

I really enjoyed this one . Haha I loved all that I have watched but I so loved seeing all of your hats. I retired from a bakery and for 2 decades I made several hats for the people I worked with even some of my favorite customers. My grandson has received several hats as well as Afghans. While working at the bakery I helped the owner 's wife with making baby hats for her charity. I think hats and shawls are my favorite things to make. Haha way I know I am writing a book I wanted to tell you something I learned from other podcasts. Some charge $20 -$15 an hour pluse the weight their hat to see how much to charge. Your handwork is amazing. One more than ng do you use 4 or 5 weight yarn. Take care and you look like your mom

The coasters are punch needle. I drew the templates myself & I looked online for ideas, but you could trace them. Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

I meshed 2 patterns, lol. I made the birds from the Mini Flockers Pattern by: Knots by Jak. The swing is from "Bee on a Swing" By @close.knit.crochet. Hope that helps. Sorry for the delay in responding to you. Have a great day.
LOVE your market set up and the hats you showed! They are so cute! Also so smart using a tagging gun! I like putting my prices on each item or on a big sign so people can see them without needing to ask. Keep up the hard work!

Great Video April! Very informative and I think all your preparation will help so much for future shows. I’ve done craft shows but for paper products.
