widewheel pro is little bit hard to turn because of the wide tires, and it is bumpy, but the acceleration is going keep your smile on your face all the time. worth every penny you spend on it.
I have both. The E-Twow is a lot smoother on Philly roads and sidewalks. The Wide Wheel's wide wheels seem to harsh - as in a sledgehammer on sidewalks. But the wide wheel's acceleration is superior by quite a bit in the city.
Real world range, I'll bet the E-Twow is at least equal to the WW. And it's certainly not going to be anywhere close to the stated range. The current E-Twow does have a kick stand. And a rear drum brake too. And unlike some scooters, the brakes are easy to modulate.
Nice video Micah. Owning Widewheel Pro since 3 months, I really enjoy the ride. It's a pity there is no option for a bigger battery. Only way is to build your custom one with higher cells. I believe it's possible to built 13s9p(although available space is quite limited) can make 30-31 ah doubles the range.
I have the 2019 GT and it is great for commuting. The rear wheel drum brake can be fitted as an upgrade which I will do post C19. The brakes and the jittery throttle at lower speeds are the only two things I’m not happy with.
@@davidhumphries3614 I think that changing the speed setting to a lower one would lessen the jittery low speed throttle, I've not tried it though, probably never will... 🤣
Good, rare and unbiased review...My dilemma was between gt wide wheel and zero 9...but the convenience to carry it won...obviously I would have loved a more cushiony tire on etwow...as it makes me vibrate while travelling old European city rock roads...but overall in am satisfied...I just wish 2 things would have added more to my purchase...1. Better compatibility with after market stuffs signal lights etc. and 2. Option to replace front solid tire to foam or pneumatic for extra comfort.. BTW..the new gt comes with rear drum breaks, which makes it a lot safer while breaking...I use both the breaks to break...and the kick stand...so I think that would make you happy as well :)
Why are you using an outdated GT? Pretty weird considering the new model solves most of the issues you mentioned. Also, the 2019 model GT is 1k not $1100. Not impressed with this video
I ended up getting the GT because of how the handle bar can be fold ( I usually put it in the back row of my car ) and the weight difference between the two.

You have the 2019 version of the booster Gt, I highly recommend getting a upgrade.

I've heard about this but have yet to see one. Sounds amazing but they have to do something about those janky wheels.

I solved the problem of the jittery throttle at low speed by simply going fast all the time. 👍
alex It does mean my wife won’t use it and is waiting for my Zoom Stryder to be repaired.

I’ve got the 2020 ugdraded version , and let le tell you that it’s a blast,, I simply added a stronger light for night rides !
