Travel Day | Disney World & Universal | Orlando Vlog Series | LHR to MCO | May 2024

- Welcome back to our travel adventures! Join us for an exciting travel day in our May 2024 series.
We kicked off our trip with a comfortable stay at the Premier Inn on Bath Road, conveniently close to Heathrow. The hotel was fantastic and only a short drive to the terminal. Our parking experience was seamless with Blue Circle's Meet & Greet service at the short stay car park-quick and hassle-free, just how we like it! Check-in and security were a breeze, and we were soon relaxing in the No1 Lounge. Charlie and Paige had a quick visit to duty-free before it was time to board our flight.
Our flight was on time, and we landed in MCO at 1:30 PM. By 2 PM, we were at the car rental, though we had a slight hiccup with the first car due to the lack of USB-C ports. We opted for the trusty Ford Edge, which has been our go-to on past trips. The drive to our villa took about 40 minutes due to traffic on the I-4. The villa is absolutely stunning, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Stay tuned as this villa will be featured on PrimeTime Villas soon!
After dropping off our bags, we headed to Disney Springs. We had a lovely stroll and picked up Charlie's Disney Annual Pass, all set for our first day at Magic Kingdom! We enjoyed a fantastic meal at Deluxe Burger. For $35, the food was amazing and worth every penny. With Teddy exhausted, we headed back to the villa.

My wife and I enjoy your vlogs, but today was a big surprise for us because of the many thousands of villas in Orlando, you walked into St Andrews at the shires where we have stayed around half a dozen times (if not more). It used to be owned by a lovely Scottish couple (Clive and Shirley) and they sold it about 5 years ago. We last stayed there in September 2019 and have enjoyed many holidays there over the years. There used to be a little gator in the lake that we only saw a couple of times (not sure if it’s still in there). We have stayed in quite a few villas over the years and St Andrews was our favourite villa. We don’t watch many Florida vlogs nowadays, but you guys are such a nice family and we enjoy your vlogs.
Oh wow such a small world. We absolutely loved this villa and would love to stay here again. It was great and the management company who look after it were great too, they mentioned that a Scottish couple owned it a few years ago. We saw a gator in the lake behind the villa, only saw it once but it was there 😀. Thank you so much for watching and your lovely comment ❤️

Thanks for watching and good news about the credit card. Yes we drove to Disney everyone, we didn’t have to pay for parking though as we had 1 annual pass which gets us free parking. We always drive as we love the flexibility to be honest

Hmm try and plan your days and don’t try and fit in too much. Have a look at height requirements for the rides and plan what ones he can do.

Thanks for watching. We didn’t use fast track this time, we did in May and it was good but for this trip we didn’t. We didn’t need it this time either as the queues weren’t too bad

Hi. We are watching this vlog now. Could I ask a question about the lounge. Did you book it through Virgin? It said reserved on your table, did you reserve it?
Great video. We are also staying at Bath Road Premier Inn. We’ve done Disney numerous times plus stayed at that Premier inn before
We booked it through Dragon Pass which is via Barclays. We pre booked it so that’s why it was reserved 😀

Thank you, we have just been cutting right back and doing more exercise. Perry has been doing min 10k steps a day and tracking all calories and measuring food as well

The early flight you guys flew makes a lot of difference as normally it starts to get dark on the later flights. It also helped with immigration etc.

Disney 20 minutes, universal between 30-40 mins

Aww thank you. Yes kids are growing up very quick and we are also getting older 😂. We are very lucky that we can go so often and it’s just our happy place. It’s a place we’re all stress disappears that’s for sure. Life is very short and you only get one life ❤️.
Yes I do, I use Bluetooth to connect it to the car which then enables apple car play. Once car is powered on. Go to Bluetooth on your phone and connect the car. Then just follow the instructions, it’s quite straightforward

Great vlog👍🏻 how many cases did you get in the suv? We will have 4 cases and a pram, worrying if they will all fit😂
In the Ford Edge, we got 4 big cases. 4 hand luggage and the pram. On the return to the airport I did put down a chair which helped a lot

When I fly I always keep my seat belt on even when I went to England(7.5hr) but I thought we were supposed to unless I needed to get up??
They always say you should keep it down up but most people don’t. Seems like people will be going forward now

It’s a graco pram, we picked it up on Facebook market place and it’s really good. Got a lot of storage under the pram as well
