The smallest countryside, a beautiful childhood was my past. It is a glorious experience but remains like the memory of a past life.
Due to an endless wish, persistent effort, and a grateful companionship with my better half, I was able to create my little Brindavan in the outskirts of Hyderabad just as I dreamed.

మనసు పడ్డామా, మార్పుని కోరుకుంటున్నామా, ఏమో తెలియదు కానీ, మొత్తానికి పట్నంలో పల్లెను సృష్టించుకున్నాం. బ్రతికే యడం కాదు జీవిద్దాం అనే మా కోరికకు జీవం పోసుకున్నాం.
ఆర్భాటాలు లేని, అందమైన కలల ప్రపంచం లో మీతో కలసి ఆనందించాలని మీ ముందుకు వచ్చాను.
ఇందులో మా కుటీరం, అందమైన వనం, అమ్మమ్మ వంటలు ,ఆరోగ్య సూత్రాలు, ఆధునిక అడుగుల తో పాటు నా ఆలోచన స్రవంతిని మీతో పంచుకోవాలనే కోరికకు రూపమే ఈ కలగూరగంప.

You brought back so many long forgotten memories to me. I am from TN. 40yrs back we used to visit my kollu paati (great grand mother) and Ammamma(mother’s mom, same as you say) in the village during the summer holidays. She used to have a similar clay material cooling rack. It had two layers inside and they used to pour water on top like a tray. The water will seep onto the clay and keep the fruits and vegetables fresh. They led such a simple life back then. They had both gas stove as well as the wood burning and coal burning stoves. I used to visit the farms nearby and eat cucumbers straight from the plant. Coconut water was so yummy. They will drop the whole coconut inside the well. It will float on top and keep it cool. We will pull it out with buckets and enjoy. What a life! I miss them so much even after 50 years.
3 yrs back my daughter demonstrated same kind of experiment (Eco- friendly fridge)in her science exhibition in her 3rd class & she got 1st prize @ school level. But growing greeny leaf vegetables is an innovative idea & really wonderful.
Wonderful experiment talli.At the age of 80 years,I feel proud to see a middle aged woman to practically show us this type of excellent 'Natural Refrigerator '.God bless you talli.
