Best hull for any jetski on the market today. So much fun doing fast donuts, then dropping the nose and hitting the throttle to come flying out of the water at Ferarri acceleration! Exhilarating!!!
They're quick no doubt, but for raw acceleration absolutely nothing touches Yamahas. Those damn things launch like a rocket and pull like a freight train
That is a very useful review. You should do that to all the top skis. That is a huge consideration to many buyers. Because like you said I know it varies a lot ski to ski.
I always enjoy watching from Japan. Kawasaki's jet ski is a motorcycle. The seadoo is a stable boat. I chose the kawasaki310ultra, which is fun to ride.
I actually experienced this exact thing on a 250 x. I would have to say I noticed this on the Kawasaki, but not on the Yamahas that I've ridden. Not a big deal after you become aware of it, but I can see how it could cause someone to crash into a dock or another vessel . This is why it's good to get to know the ski and what its limits are and how to deal with different situations.
Very useful info, thanks. Please incorporate this on all your future reviews. I know stability is something I was very concerned about, and it's hard to find useful information like this.
That's an awesome vid, I have this issue with some passengers who are really not coordinated on a ski. Thank you, I will be using these techniques this summer!
I had flipped mine in the first week after someone jumped on back and leant the wrong way in a slow turn, ever since then I never feel confident at slow speeds or when getting off it at the dock thinking it will go over easily. Thanks for the video seems as though it was just all in my head!
I don't own a JetSki, I am no where near water so even if I had I a JetSki or even afford one I could use, yet here I am at midnight, watching some awesome dude teaching me how not to drown, if I had a JetSki, thanks - I need another cup of tea and some toast!! Loved the video BTW :-) edit - not sure I will subscribe, not because it's not a great video, I am not sure if I have room in my life for another channel seeing as last weekend I added a bird feeding channel ( I don't feed birds, well obviously if they were hungry, but not as a hobby) also a number of videos I had to watch on laying a patio which my girlfriend insists that we can do, which I am not that confident as it seems I have to dig a hole deep enough to bury a great white shark and to be fair that's a big hole, so I left a like but not a sub as of yet, but will keep you posted, maybe the hole I have to dig will give me incentive to fill it with water and borrow a JetSki.
The wake Pro and Fish Pro have great stability! The snag is the ride can be very bumpy … the hull is designed for stability and not for biting through waves.
I have never found a reason to contradict you, until now! Dana Point in in Southern California. All the northwest windswell energy is blocked by point conception. It’s pretty much lake Pacific all the time. Northern California has the roughest ocean.
I just started riding a few weeks ago, so I’m kinda new but did the exact thing I did with motorcycles. I bought my first bike thinking I don’t need to go fast then 2 weeks later I get a something with 3 times the power and speed. Everyone says yeah you don’t need to go fast on a jet ski, just cruising around is good enough then immediately buys a 300. I find it a little unsettling when riding with 2 passengers and the ski just randomly tips to one side or the other because 1 or 2 of your riders are placing all their weight on the wrong side of the footwells. I usually just throttle into the fall, that’s what I’m suppose to do right?
It’s only obvious if you know. ; which would be riders with experience. A lot of new riders may presume that you could do tight 180’s and could be the surprise roll.
My spark use to do the same thing when letting the throttle go and turning the bar 😂. It was sketchy at first but then you get use to how to avoid those situations
I almost felt like that in my new VX HO. I don’t think it’s stable enough for me to stand on one side. But again, I’m a bigger guy. I’m sure I’ll eventually get thrown off. lol
Switching from SeaDoo to Kawasaki….these things roll?// like an 89 seadoo XP? Lol better not! I used to jump on one side of the 2017 seadoo and nothing would happen
@cts-vme3353 omg are you a long lost twin I didn't know about. I have commented the same thing on this guy's channel and I also drive a cadillac 🤣🤣 I agree though. If I wanted a explorer or a fish pro etc.. I would just buy a boat. You buy a ski for the thrill like riding a dirt bike.nope these out of shape people in today's society wants to turn everything into a Honda gullwing! If you don't want to get wet stay off the water ya know lol.
Is this a serious video? Was this meant for a kindergarten class? Anyone that needs this type of, not sure really what to call it, should not be on the water.
What the hell tips that barge over? A sunami wave? 😂😂 I figured it was impossible to fall of a new ski? Everyone I have ride the fun factor is at 0 unless u want to do 80 in a straight line

Thanks Kevin! Awesome topic and video. That was probably the most useful explanation I’ve seen regarding the Kawi Smart Steering system.
Love the content. Many people complain about this, but I have found it to be very stable. I am comparable size as you are. Awesome stuff!!!
I love that I’m the same hight and weight as you Kevin, makes these things easier for me to imagine.

Kevin, thank you very much for informative video. If possible, please make a video on how to recover a flipped PWC.
Thank you in advance.
No. If you flip a modern ski you shouldn't be on one EVER.
@@watercraftjournal noted, pressure is on me.
Great illustration and advice! Thanks for sharing Kevin.

My pleasure!

This is the best comment of the day

Thank you for the Ultra content!
I got one of these last year. FUN!
Wow so cool that you're awesome !! I liked that's Kawasaki's Ultra Jetski 310 LX - 5 with price RM 72 ,860 .
Like a motorcycle, move your weight and counter steer. also ease up a bit on the gas but don't
make any panic moves.

Considering Mavericks is one of the biggest breaks on the planet, you very well may be right.
Excellent as usual. Thx
Nice video!

Sad day when a video like this is needed. Maybe if you couldn't ride a tricycle and keep it from tipping over PWCs are not for you.
Well said Steven. Well said.
I Lean opposite side almost like I’m a on bike
Exactly, if you know how to ride, no issues. That weird tipping position even looks retarded.
Exactly, and I’m an old man who has no trouble with weight shifting and ergonomics.
It’s only obvious if you know. ; which would be riders with experience. A lot of new riders may presume that you could do tight 180’s and could be the surprise roll.
I have never felt like that on my rxtx300 , alway feel stable and safe
Which we clearly state is not an issue for the ST3.
How’s that bow hunting treating you though?
It is very difficult to tip over one of those big kawasaki jet skis
I just showed how easy it is.
Good looking fish 👊
My spark use to do the same thing when letting the throttle go and turning the bar 😂.
It was sketchy at first but then you get use to how to avoid those situations
The footwell filled with enough water on side to tilt the ski significantly and ready to flip over at the dock. Anyone have this issue.
Thanks iam😊 76 years old and just purchased a Kawasaki 300xused and need help like your video
Not going to lie, I was hoping you would fall in.
I almost felt like that in my new VX HO. I don’t think it’s stable enough for me to stand on one side. But again, I’m a bigger guy. I’m sure I’ll eventually get thrown off. lol
The front mount camera wouldve demonstrated lean way better than your selfie stick
Have the same problem with my FXHO when the other half is riding pillion. I have fallen off more than once, but somehow she didn't 😂
Switching from SeaDoo to Kawasaki….these things roll?// like an 89 seadoo XP? Lol better not! I used to jump on one side of the 2017 seadoo and nothing would happen
I had a 2019 sea doo and ran like a tank, stable, but a VERY ROUGH ride in modest waves.
Just watched video of couple flipping on Yamaha at low speed.
So this issue isn’t Kawi exclusive 🤷♂️
No, it's a "stupid people exclusive."
I have a 2004 excellent condition Kawasaki Ultra 150. And boy will it tip over at low speed if your not paying attention lol
They don’t have their sea legs yet
fish pro can roll over :)
That would have to be wholly intentional.
If yall are rolling these massive ski's stay far away from any 2 stroke ski let alone a WaveBalster 1! My girl and and I rode in chop on a WB 1 😂.
Hahahaha I was about to say the samething! I own a blaster 1 my self. Lol
@@jeffbryner5355 these new riders have no skill. They just want high tech gadgets attached to a ski and complain when they get wet 😂

My buddy rolled my new Seadoo that way…..I was not happy 😢
I honestly thought this was a joke clickbait heading. 😂😂😂😂
Good Lord I wish it was, but folks roll these things all the time.
Things a pig, wow.
Whatever, just don't buy a Sea Doo
