THIS should’ve made it on the rarities😭 i adore this song so much! it would’ve been nice if she re-recorded it, got rid of the auto tune to showcase her new vocals and made the overall song sound more modern since it sounds slightly dated. This calls for a rarities deluxe edition!
This is one of her best songs and I’m a huge fan. I love how it’s vulnerable, deep, AND sounds radio ready (yes with updated production). Idk how the hell this wasn’t the lead single for the rarities it’s so god damn good ! Ugh I’m so mad at her! I’m a lamb tho

I believe the sound is not finished either. I don't think it needs to be updated. I think a more polished sound would Do. This is 2010 not 1994. It's an urban track.

You can tell it wasn't going to be released because it sounds so under produced, they haven't sampled anything, mariah hasn't added loads of her unique ad-libs, etc etc its just the foundation to what could be a really nice song!!!

The only reason i can think of, of why this song wasn't on the album is that it doesn't capture mariah's style. Not to say that this is a bad song though, i like it.

@Vaughn Doyle --Actually, I read somewhere that the song wasn't complete by the album's deadline, which is why it was excluded. It would have best suited as the second release after Obsessed, rather than Hate-U. Love the Album and this song! Plus, Ribbon, and It's a Wrap were good song too!
It was similar to "Obsessed" with the voice over" synthesized part. It fits right on in.
