You might be better off calving them in September/October outside and have a healthy strong calf coming into the shed. You won’t have to worry about a new born in with big Friesan cows if you ever wanted to mix them as they’ll be dried off anyway

John Deere balers are v simple and easy to use, I have used welders, new Holland etc, I bale hay and straw all the time, those springs tension the bale and should be adjusted every day you bale, funny enough straw is usually easier to bale so not sure kind of straw you were baling.
I don’t know either but everyday a school day. Either then that it’s a lovely baler 😊
Leave off the tension starting and keep checking and adjusting every few bales until you get the bale you like and drive on after that! A 359 is a very good make. Good videos by the way.

Thinking things are going to be changing next year for you... 😮.. predictive text trying to change "Changing to challenging... so you can look at that any way i suppose 😊😜.. you only need to look at the folk state side to pick up tips on square balers... they are big into it still over there and know what balers are good and bad... we still have our old MF balers with a feed that would struggle with a 4 walker combine never mind our 2266 jd one 😮😊... stay safe sir 🏴

wasting your time bulling her again same thing will happen to her again up the ramp is your best bet
Maybe bullin or AI could not be wise financially . Was she too young or is she too small to carry. Maybe ask the vet or try her with a different bull.
