Hello from western America, great to get to hear your story. It's great that you made the choice to come back to the farm and help your Dad. What a Father's day gift. Life doesn't always deal a good hand.

Be areful of your thoughts, if it's hardship that you have in mind you'll get plenty of it, on the other hand keep your thoughts positive and get plenty of it. Great job, nice to see a confident woman.

Sounds like you're doing a fine job with the farm. And I'll bet it is very good for your dad to stay as involved as he can be. Handing out what needs to be done is good for him too. God bless both of you.

Not a lot of “young’ns” are willing to take to farming. So good to see. People don’t realize how critically important farmers/farming are/is to the world. Just amazing it is, to see you willing to turn your hand to it.
Not a big back catalogue to go through, but I’ve a fair good feeling this’ll turn out to be one of my favourite channels.

Hi Karen. Great to see a young farmer keeping the family farm going. I have a small farm up in Co fermanagh, all sucklers and I love it,wouldn't change it for the world. Sorry to hear of your dad's accident, I lost 2 uncles to farm accident it's a dangerous enough occupation. Take any advice you can from your dad,my dad farmed his whole life up to 93 years of age and the amount of advice I got from him was priceless. Looking forward to more videos.

    New to your channel
It popped up in a short on TH-cam
The MF135 drew me in, I'm not from farming, however a distant uncle introduced me to 135 and 165 in the 70s when I was younger, so have a soft spot for them
I follow a few TH-cam farmers so I'm gonna check out the rest of your videos
    Take care

Those are some nice animals you have there...!!! I must say you really have tipping up those bales off to a fine art....if my loader fails I have too use the spikes but I cant get them to tip up like you do...I'm suitably impressed...!!!😂...my suclers outwinter as not got barn facilities and it's more cost of straw too...but like you I like up in bec listening to that 4ain't m wind cursing it as I know my girls will be all huddled up in the field..today just had a heifer calve and I cant get near the calf to bring it in..so managed to get hold of some colostrum from a neighbour and got a litre in using my truck to block mum...was trampled badly last week doing similar so not taking chances now..if im down no one to feed up n such..so I fully understand your hardships even tho I'm in the sunny south of england...subsistence farming they call it...survival farming more like...!!!!😂😂it's good that your dad can still play an 8important part...not just for him but for you...having to do all paperwork and practical can be very draining so you are lucky to have him as him having you...team work makes dream work they say...!!!!!dehorning and such when small is not easy for me as mine usually hit the ground running and some mums are over protective...but I can still run fast...just sometimes not fast enough...!!!!😂..it's amazing how a very lame cow can suddenly turn into an Olympic standard runner when trying to do something with it....!!!having 4 legs is definatly an advantage !!!!😄...

Nice video. I give out bales with a 165. There's less piking involved if you leave the bale on the spike, cut off the plastic and netting and roll off a layer of silage off the bale as you drive along the feed passage.Netting can get trapped underneath the bale or the bale can disintegrate on occasion but you can't escape the hardship completely. You probably won't give out as many bales at a time either so there'll be less spoilage.

Hi Karen. Gabriel Doyle here again. I was watching you tonight on you tube. Was worried in case you would get your arm broke. To handle a suckled cow you need someone to : hold her tail up straight to take the power off her. Suckled cows are not quiet like milk cows. Never try to put your hand on a suckled cows udder because you they can hit you an awful kick. Been there - done that. Your programme is great. Keep up the hard work. You are doing great

Best of luck with the channel Karen . We are suckler farming in Tippreary It doesn’t be easy as you know when you are working off farm and doing a early morning. Or a late night After a tough day. Especially this weather. I came back from London. 3 years ago now to take over the farm. But like you. It’s great to have a dad to bounce the ideas. If the daily ideas off. I greatly value dads Ideas. Even that sometimes. We have to agree to disagree 😀😀😀 best of luck. And keep up the good work. And look after the 135. We have one here tis a great little tractor for its age
