I think the thing I found disappointing was just that, for the “ugliest house,” it wasn’t ugly on the outside, even though that’s what most people would probably have judged it by. The infamous houses in every town I’ve lived in have always been houses that looked weird when you drove by. Still, it was nice to see the changes, and I liked that you had to demolish those old stairs and stuff. Plus the trampoline was cool. It also looks like a house that will be fun to eventually completely flip on your own. 😊 Also, I appreciate that you fixed up your main room. I don’t mind wallpaper but that yellow was hard on the eyes. Lol. It looks much better painted purple, imo.
it wasn't ugly at all. i have seen uglier houses on the street i live in. and those houses have literal moss and mildew growing on the roofs and walls. and some garbage all over the yard. like actual garbage not haha it's old wood. no this is raccoon inducing garbage. i'd live in that house it's not ugly at all.
Support, i think the cell phone is a joke cuz the old renovators got constant calls and tried to get rid of it. This house is more of a reason for before/after
You saved me. I did this job and when I got home, there were a lot of items and the roof gone. But you had said that some had this problem, so I just exited and when I came back in, everything was back to normal. I had fixed up the house a great deal. One other tip, if you buy a surface finish, you can use the sell tool on Edit mode and click on the box and reset things like rotation and cut size. So you can try and lay one tile, and if it is not what you want, lay it back in the box, then edit the box to change it. Saves a lot of money and time. You can do the vertical slats then change the box and do the horizontals rather than keep two different boxes and wonder which is which. Enjoying this game with you.
I couldn't help but laugh at your reaction to the trampoline. I also find listening to your commentary somewhat relaxing. Great videos.
The cell phone is a time capsule man. bury old stuff in a box in concrete for future generations to open up. it's a community center so it's for kids.

So you can find that Nokia phone on the house map with the party/band goers? It's well hidden in some bushes by the porch.
And they have the same sort of pink paint all over their house too. It makes me wonder if they trashed the place, but I can't figure out why they'd bury the phone.
i love that purple. it is sooo calming. compared to that intense gross yellow with the parakeets. the yellow was jarring to my beady beagle eyes.

Those stairs looked like they were gonna break if you touched them not only was that wood wayyyy to thin to begin with but it also looked like ply board which isn't exactly made to hold anything heavier than a set of cups but it also looked like the termites got to it which means it was rotten
My roof broke on my "family home" too! It turned it into something from Beetlejuice! LOL I couldn't reset it because i kept trying to fix it and the auto save kicked in. Now i have a very interesting roof!
I know they have their hands full with HF2 and I'm really excited to see what they bring us. However, I do hope they don't forget about the first game, fixing up some of the bugs there too. In time of course. I've been playing the first one for a while and there are still a few things that are spotty.

I did the job for the parents first, to unlock that house to flip as well, but if you want to do one of the mansions before that, I won't complain. I haven't done either of them yet.

the top trim is a little different than the rest. so you forgot to replace the top trim with flat black squares not the wooden black planks. it was three types of things. XD but this is my ocd talking
It looks like at this moment, you're just trying to make it NOT the ugliest house. It's still pretty awful. Later it can actually be a nice place.
Question: why are the heaters under the windows? I'm not from a cold place ....

59:00 I'm going to post this here before checking the next video, but at this point in this video, you forgot to paint over the animals in that window corner at the 59 minute mark here. You did notice it at the last few seconds. I found that wallpaper an abomination and hope you rectify it!
