As a neutral bystander and having watched some of their vids, I sense fear from Grayson and Gibbs. Fear that in a single off-season UNC is going to achieve everything they haven't. Meaningful financial support from the school, elite recruiting, and all the publicity in college football. UNC is suddenly the hottest new thing in town. Something state isn't going to be it seems ever.
@@ericguerra7319 Fear would require a level of intelligence that these guys lack. Especially with Gibbs. I get that the the hosts of these "Locked On" podcasts all have a certain level of homerism because they are legitimate fans of the teams they cover, but you'd expect them to add something to their shows. New info, interesting perspectives. SOMETHING. Gibbs doesn't though. He just sits there moaning and groaning, mocking rivals, and puffing out his chest whenever NC State experiences the smallest modicum of success. If that's all I wanted, I'd just hangout at the local Buffalo Wild Wings on gameday. He's competing with Drake Toll for the title of most obnoxious Locked On host.🤣
@GalathNox They're habitual excuse makers as well. I'm a Notre Dame fan and I first heard of them when they made the ridiculous claim that the Irish "escaped" with a 21 point win last year because NC State "shot themselves in the foot" or "self imploded." Now I just watch them for comedic reasons to listen out for more idiotic claims. I guess you could call me a fan lol

They'd be 27-time national champions in every sport if not for the refs, bad calls, favoritism, scheduling, a coach, a fan, playing surface, wind, yada yada yada. I used to watch these guys for the comedy too. Almost a parody of a real podcast. lol But, it's to the point that if they show up on podcast, I tend to click off of it. Their arrogance makes my head hurt, because my brain can't figure out for the life of it how they've earned the right to be so smug. Delusions of grandeur. BTW, best of luck to you and the Irish in the CFB. ND is one of the very few teams in there that I'd be happy to see win it all.
