Free Range Diva love that one too!!! I bought my variegated obtusifolia from ikea a while ago and I was able to split it into 3! Gonna try to propagate 🤞🏽. Hope you find a parallel!!
This is my favorite and only peperomia. I got it about 2 months ago in a 4 inch pot. I took a piece and propagated it in water to make a plant fo my office but I am impatient so I ordered another in a 2 inch pot to add to the cutting. Your plants are so beautiful!

theres no difference between puteolata and tetragona..its just that 'puteolata'was its old species name.. the more upto date is the other one; Hence, Peperomia tetragona is the appropriate, more up-to-date name 💚
Very helpful video. I just got one 2 weeks ago. It certainly is a cute plant. My windows are south west facing but 1 of them get direct sunlight in the morning between 11:30 and 12:30 pm. Maybe I'll put her on the window sill to see how that amount of direct light makes her feel.
Awesome! You're going to really enjoy the plant, it's got really interesting rat tail looking blossoms! It'll only bloom if it is well rooted in its pot. Good luck!!

Aww it’s such a charming little plant and I love the yellow baby planter it’s in. I want one now 😭 idk if it can survive in my north facing window though. I just got back from the garden center and I don’t think they had this one 😔but I got a silver Anne or silver Pothos for $5! The nurseries in my area are expensive and a typical 4 inch is $8! Which, I think is expensive >< I’m happy though bc it’s a bushy one and the last one had! I love these kinds of vids! Just simple tour of a specific plant-whatever plant you feel like or struggling with. It’s good information and everyone has diff experience that one can learn from :)

I’ve noticed that prices are rising for plants that were previously pretty cheap 😔. That’s a great deal for your silver anne though! I wanna get one too!!!
Botanibabies ! My local nursery had a huge sale but I ended up only looking at plants, since I recently bought too many planters and pots xD and can’t wait for the plant shopping vid! I love those! It’s one of my favorites besides repotting vids ^^

Hi Becky, I'm super lazy when it comes to customer mixing my soil, so I just use the general purpose potting mix, to be honest lol. When you water propagate, just use plain water :)
I've had my plant for two years now, this growing season though it would start new growth and then drop them before they mature. I've repotted, fertilized and slightly increased watering schedule. I used to water exactly like you said. Anyway, the changes I've done seem to have extended how long the plant keeps the new growth but it's still dropping them. Any thoughts? :(
You know, now that you mention that, mine is doing that too. However, I notice that it will continue to grow where the leaves turn brown and crispy and fall off. I always attributed that to it adjusting to the temperature change, but I could be wrong... I recommend watering less now that the weather is getting colder (unless you're in a hot area). I know that peperomias will continue to grow even in the winter, but just to be on the safe side, I always water less. Hope that helps, sorry to hear about your plant, Iris :(
Kristina Chin the only one I went to that I found decently priced is the Portland nursery on SE division street. Otherwise, the ones I went to in the downtown area are overpriced. I’m from WA too and normally find great stuff at mclendon’s in Renton if you’re ever in that area! 🤓

iamhjey oh no!! Remove any dying leaves and stems right away. Leave it alone for a couple of weeks and let it dry out completely. To the point where it feels super light when you pick up the pot. Then water it only a little at a time. Hope that helps!!

Mine is in a 2 and a half inch pot. I let it dry out between waterings and it is dropping leaves. Help!!
hmmm, have you considered repotting it in a bigger container? those little pots dry out very quickly especially in the summer.
