So true. Most videos/opinions I see on it lean more on the critical side. Of the ADG line I only own profumo and absolu, and absolu is a way more pleasant and enjoyable fragrance imo. I don't particularly dislike profumo, but it is ridiculously overrated.
I appreciate the breakdown and how knowledgeable you are when speaking about each of them. Defining their differences and which one is more of a compliment getter and which one is just more appreciated by the fragrance community.
My favorite thing about ADG is that the base scent DNA is so timeless. Everyone and their grandmother has smelled it a billion times by now, but no matter which one you wear, you are getting compliments left and right
Same here I can still remember the first time that I smelled the original ADG. I did pick up the EDP and I’m not disappointed, it definitely is a more mature smelling version of the of ADG but so am I definitely feels like the fragrance grew up with me. I say you should get it.

I 💯 agree that Profondo is the best in the line. Mainly due to its modern aquatic freshness - love it!!! I enjoy the edp as well- I would consider it #2
With all the ADG releases (and without getting my nose on the new EDP yet), my fave in the line is still Profumo. Love the incense and patchouli in that one. One of my fave fragrances I own by far! 👍
Clearly the most accurate description of the currently available ADG line, as a result of Ash’s passion and years of experience wearing the fragrances. I have learned to appreciate the OG and flankers in large part due to him. I even took Profondo on vacation to Hawaii to enjoy and compare with the actual smells of the ocean.
Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio original used it in my teens in the 90´s still use it man what are you talking about older guys wont appreciate Absolu ?? i love it i´m 45

I got second bottle of ADG Profondo today. Love the smell on my skins in a warm weather ❤️ The Profumo is my goto fragrance in an air conditioner office settings.
My favorite is Absolu and Profumo but I love the whole collection. Absolu is an absolute monster in the compliment department women of all ages love it
Im a woman and LOVE absolu. Its like perfect - long lasting, doesnt give me a headache, spicy and woody and also some what neutral (not super super macho masculine scent). Would love this on a guy OR a girl.
My wife bought me Profumo and it was the beginning of my fragrance collection journey! 😅 Got a lot of love for it, and she will always love it as well - needless to say it will be a staple in my collection for as long as I can find it! 😂
Profumo is the best. Profondo lights close second, it is really underrated, it smells like profondo but with the herbal/ slight incense vibe from Profumo.

Could be as it’s gotten older over time people don’t wear it as much as they used to, so people don’t recognize it as easily as in years past? Not sure. Either way it’s my go to summer fragrance for sure!
Got to be honest my first armani was mania. Then i was put on gio by the lady at belks. Hooked since became signature scent as well. Then Ezzenza cam out and blew it away. Out of these you listed id say profumo is my favorite for sure
Aqua Di Gio EDP is hit and miss for me, I LOVE it! But I love it on my own... I can wear it and only myself can get whiffs of it and appreciate it, I've only had one or two compliments from it. (had it for months now) It's definitely a go-to fragrance, for ME personally right now.
Dua brand has a hybrid of Profundo and Roja Parfums Elysium. My nose loves it. If you're not into clones and budget permits, try layering the two. Also, regarding Dua they have what could be an ADG flanker that's their own mix, called "out at sea". If ADG is standing on the dock, Out at Sea would be on boat...at sea. I think someone confused it with ADG because they asked me what it was saying they'd smelled it before (going back to what Ash said about people having smelled it at some point). Apparently had a noticeable sillage.
Profondo is my favorite warm weather scent right now, and I could say I am preferring it to the Profumo after wearing it for a few months. In fact, Profondo for summer and spring DAYS, and Profumo for summer, spring and fall NIGHTS.
My favorite out of the 3 I’ve had was essenza . Loved the original before it was reformulated. Currently on the last 2 oz of my Profumo with the magnetic cap

I had the original, have been wearing Profondo for some months from a sample of it, and tried Profumo at a shop. for me, *Profondo* is a best of all three, as the "vineagerish" note of an OG in it has been slightly cut, yet keeping it fresh and clean, like an original. *Profumo* on my skin gets down to an OG composition in the next 20-30 min after applying, so personally I see no reason to overpay for this variant. maybe I didn't wear it often enough, who knows. and *Absolu* for me is just a bad take over the washing bowder with a bubble-gum sweetness, this one didn't fit me at all, so I've given a small bottle of it to one of my friends - and he got it well! :) in any case, I'll try it as soon, as I am able to. greetings from Ukraine. :)
Excellent review. But more importantly, can we all cheers to the haircut and beard trim? You look 1000× better without bangs and it is a more confident look overall. I went through a similar transformation a while ago, so I especially appreciate the cleaner look and suspect it is garnering you a lot more compliments. Cheers to your transformation 🍻

Ah. I was hoping you’d talk about Blue Edition , most people don’t even know it existed. I was able to score a 200ml size of it a month or two back and man… what a gem. That persimmon note gives it such a beautiful variation. Lands in between the OG & Profondo in my opinion.

Excellent review dude. I’m 46 and I wore the original for years…still occasionally wear it. I bought the Profundo and it’s a fresh beast and longevity power house. Blind bought and I’m glad i did.
Finally got the edp.. the first time I put it on (it was a blind buy) I immediately regretted it. But now I wear it all the time. As it dries down, especially on a hot day, it has become a favorite of mine
There's something in the aqcua di gio DNA that's smell dated to me something green, although absolu is my favourite and i hope they don't discontinue it
I love Profondo. Gorgeous summer scent. I plan on picking up Absolu even though i dont need it. Thankfully I have a 4.2 ml of the discontinued Profumo. ADG Parfum will get picked up when the price drops.
You (and people around you) are going to love Absolu. It is the most complimented fragrance I own. I've got the EDP and Profondo also. The entire line is up there with Allure for me.
I’ve gotten some Profumo samples and have given it a try, but I find myself missing the floral notes in the original. The original ADG EDT was just such a masterful balance of light/dark and light/heavy - and the flankers shift in various directions and lose that balance.
I always trust Ash, so ADG Profondo is on top of my list to buy next, sprayed some over the weekend (reason why I’m watching this) and I LOVE IT, I need it.

My personal favorite is Profumo, but I get more compliments on Profondo, as people seem to like that one better (especially younger people). I wanted to buy Profondo because of the hype on TH-cam. Then I tried it and didn't like it. Smells very synthetic and artificial to my nose. Bought the EdP instead. The real king is Profumo, though. Thanks for your videos!
I still just rock the OG when I’m just around the house and then Absolu. Absolu, to me, doesn’t get the credit it deserves, imo, and doesn’t get as sickly sweet as things like Hawas and Invictus Aqua, and retains a bit of the minerality and freshness of the ADG line, which is something I dig. Absolu is more versatile than people give it credit for. I think bc the OG became what it did without any sweetness, the introduction of a more sweet leaning frag seemed to be a bit of a challenge to interpret within the line. For me, Absolu might slide in with guys that don’t tend to go for sweet fragrances bc the sweetness is reigned in while providing a more mature profile than your average sweet fragrance. While Invictus Aqua, Legend Spirit and Rasasi Hawas are all akin to each other, Absolu says ‘I can pay homage to that scent profile without triggering those who don’t care for sweet, AND make it work for more seasons and scenarios’. That’s how much I think Absolu is misunderstood, if I’m being honest.

Absolu is a criminally underrated designer fragrance. And easily the most underrated in the ADG line.
My Girl loves it, I wore it on the first day we met.
Its pretty much my and my brothers everyday scent. Love it.

Essenza is my favorite ADG. Of the available flankers, Profundo followed by the Parfum, Profumo.
Profumo is the way to go. Really love it, although it became quite expensive here in Europe, especially in Germany.

Absolu is so underrated, it has a gorgeous dry down, i dont get much sweetness from it i find it beautifully balanced.
I haven't smelled all of these side by side yet but the EDP smells best off the top... profondo or EDP for me so far!
The new EDP was my first and still my favorite ADG!

Special Blend is the best from the line. I regret not purchasing 100 bottles. I LOVE the scent.

I'm onest, I have only the Profumo, and for me is perfect. Is long lasting, is super versatile and fresh.

Excellent description!!! I’m “middle age”, and have never worn any ADG fragrances until this year. I have Profumo, Profondo, and the original. Love all three. My personal favorite is Profumo, but I get more compliments on Profondo, as people seem to like that one better (especially younger people). But I think Profumo is a more mature and spicier scent, which is probably why I like it best.
Trying to decide which ADG fragrance to buy next? Any suggestions??? I’m thinking Absolu
Absolute instinct is the most underrated imo. It has similarities with Profumo. I would def check this one out. Back up bottle worthy

I wanted to buy Profondo because of the hype on TH-cam. Then I tried it and didn't like it. Smells very synthetic and artificial to my nose. Bought the EdP instead. The real king is Profumo, though.

I still just rock the OG when I’m just around the house and then Absolu. Absolu, to me, doesn’t get the credit it deserves, imo, and doesn’t get as sickly sweet as things like Hawas and Invictus Aqua, and retains a bit of the minerality and freshness of the ADG line, which is something I dig. Absolu is more versatile than people give it credit for. I think bc the OG became what it did without any sweetness, the introduction of a more sweet leaning frag seemed to be a bit of a challenge to interpret within the line. For me, Absolu might slide in with guys that don’t tend to go for sweet fragrances bc the sweetness is reigned in while providing a more mature profile than your average sweet fragrance. While Invictus Aqua, Legend Spirit and Rasasi Hawas are all akin to each other, Absolu says ‘I can pay homage to that scent profile without triggering those who don’t care for sweet, AND make it work for more seasons and scenarios’. That’s how much I think Absolu is misunderstood, if I’m being honest.
Essenza is still my favorite 1 or 2 sprays would last ALL DAY But Profumo is my go to now

(I live in Knoxville, TN. and noticed your wife was wearing a TN Vols shirt in a video ranking Pineapple Vintage colognes, and assumed ya'll must live around here in East Tennessee somewhere, lol.) But I used to love the arcade in Knoxville Center, and thought it'd be cool if that was the one you were talking about working at. Either way, Go Vols!!!

I wore Acqua Di in high school so much I got sick of it , but now that I’m back in to fragrance I bought my first bottle in 15yrs 😊 hopefully I don’t regret it

Got a sample of the original when I bought a bottle of Dior. Wore it the other day and a lady sounded like she was in love when she said I smell so amazing. Yes, I ended up ordering some 🤣

ADG edt is Def my go to. That and clinuqe happy for men got me mad compliments. Azzaro chrome edp is another chart topper. Along with most wanted.

Im 26, so youngish but not a teenager by any stretch. Profondo is the best followed by absolu imo, the rest are ok but not full bottle worthy.
