I had this during my trip to Sorento, Italy, where Limoncello is made from those massive Italian lemons the size of melons. The lemon garnish where I had it was bigger than a side plate, but most importantly, it was a great cocktail. Highly recommended. I also loved having Limoncello as an digestif, chilled.
I was in italy few days ago for 2 weeks vacation. I never tried Limoncello before, and they serve there often especially on summer like 35 deg temp. It's so yummy another alternative of aperol spritz. Thank's for the video! I just made my own limoncello spritz. Cheers!
Awesome 👍 In fact "apéritif" is before the meal, for the after meal we have the "digestif" (in France). I think the "limoncello" is a digestif in Italy.
@@boozeontherocks No prob and I am glad you appreciate that lol. I find that your cocktail is a good way to appreciate limoncello at the "apéritif" phase 😉
Not bad, have to try this when I next get a bottle of sparkling - we usually only buy it once in a blue moon for something a bit celebratory, I don't really care for any of them on their own. But this might be a good idea for getting rid of what's left in the bottle.
@@boozeontherocks I like combine it with panna (similar to double cream) and making this cremy limoncello. it's amazing! That's my favourite way to drink it!
Elderflower. Rose (my Lanique Liqueur). An Orange Liqueur like GM. I’ve got a cracking Proper Mango Gin. Raspberry... liqueur or Gin. Even Coconut Rum. So many up my sleeve! 🍋🍋🍋🍋
Limoncello is soooo good. I made it during quarantine when everyone else was learning how to make their bread 😂
i learned bread earlier. now I need to learn different liqueurs :)

I’ve got about. 5 bottles of Prosecco to get rid of can I use this , thanks
Your welcome Orazio, I'm glad I could help.
That’s right up my alley David.
I knew you would like this one!!
Maybe use a good ginger beer in place of the sparkling water to sweeten it a touch and make a lemon ginger spritz.
That is a great idea.
try it with fern tree meditiranian tonic, delicious
That sounds really good Dimitri
I LOVE Limoncello! The Limoncello Spritz is an awesome Cocktail. Whack in some Elderflower too! BOOOOM
Steve, I did not think of the Elderflower. That is a good idea. What is your favorite combination using Limoncello?

some soju cocktails please!!!!
I will see what I can do.
The only charge I would make is to crush the ice and possibly use a champagne coup
Those are great ideas for this :)

Thank you and welcome :)
Maybe some Sprit instead of seltzer.
You could do that, you would just need to watch the total sweetness
Note to self. Do not get between David and his club soda!
Well the club soda is important :)
Il limoncello un aperitivo!?!??
"Ma è del mestiere questo?" cit.
😆😆😆
Una buona cattura dovrebbe essere un digestivo. Ma non sono sicuro di cosa intendi per scambio?
Prosecco!
I agree!!
you misspelled "Sprtiz in the recipe sport. Disliked.
Thank you for the feedback. I missed that. I will have to reshoot
