Literally thinking of buying one of these, just looking for a reliable 5.0 for the looks and price! I was looking for a challenger 5.7L but this checks far more boxes as gar as power, run, reliable, looks. And still better on gas while being more powerful than the 5.7L
@@AutomotiveMoney where tf can i get one of these in australia... i have about 10k and just want a sick car (lancer, wrx, mustang) what would you recommend?
@@lachlancashion3200 I've been there once. I wish I had more advice or expertise about the market down there, but it's too different than up here and not something I've liiked into before.
The 5.7 challenger only has 375 hp the base model 5.0 mustang has 412. Challengers do not have more power. They are also significantly bigger than a mustang.
@@BossMan302 yeah I’m kinda leaning towards a used 5.0 now, I love the look of challengers but getting used to the size is a concern. I have a 2006 mustang and I still have to take a little precaution in tight turns and stuff 😆
@@DreCarFinder yup. They used to be, I remember seeing them for that price, but because of the recession brought to us by covid, the used car market went up. It was all over the car community.
@@AutomotiveMoney under the right conditions I can see how you can find these for 10k but here they sit around 12-15k for an ok amount of miles. 100k to 120k.
Sorry Max, the back seat in these is OK for anyone under 5' 2". There is no way I would cram anyone taller back there. I have 2011 and 2019 convertibles. I'm 5'9" and with me comfortable in the driver's seat the only way I can sort of get in the back is with the top town, but once I'm seated it is very uncomfortable. The rest of your video is OK, but in Nov 2021 there is no way to get a good 2011-2012 GT for anything like $10K. It would have to be a real junker to be sold for that. However, once things return to normal I can see these getting close to $10K in 2024 with 100K+ miles.
How did you find a gt for $10k? I cant even find one for under $15k in great condition around me
I guess other people have the same problem as me
Same
17 thousand dollar car where I'm at
20K where im at
23k sticker for my 11’ 5.0 base 6 speed from the dealership.
17 thou with 80 thousand miles.
What part of the country are you in? Down here in Florida you wont find one for less than 15k with less than a 100k
SoCal in this instance.
You can generally get it for 10k if it’s manual

For sure. They are wicked! I prefer them over the 5.0's

Not a 10k car. You could trade it in for more than that.
