I am a Colorado Master Plumber since 1973 Telluride and in the construction trades, it was all about the lead guys getting together while looking at the print, and then proposing a contract to try to get the job. I see Trump as just one of the guys onsite, proposing "fixes" for the many issues that are a constant in any blueprint building contract. and sending out the right teams to finish it. As a plumbing sub contractor in early Telluride we saw the benefits of having really good lead guys around to keep their eye on the finished product. Trump is a great lead guy in the construction trades and he absolutely knows how to read a print and put together teams. We should give him the bid because his tract record of performance as a builder is exceptional, take out politics, just get her done.

I thought it had been proven that Trump was bad at business though? They calculated his wealth at 21 and increased it by savings interest (like a regular savings account) and this calculation came to a higher amount than his current wealth / worth. Therefore if he had just put his money in a savings account and had done nothing else, he would have been worth more today than he currently is with his "business dealings".

Normally I'd accept at face value the analysis of this team. This case seems apples to oranges because Harris is in a comfortable chair in a one on one setting. Trump is in a TV studio with a 2 minute window to get a point across. He was asked a yes or no question whereas Harris was asked a softball open question. The pressures were vastly different so behaviours will vary.

Odd that when the panel speaks of Harris they discuss her body language, but when discussing Trump they mainly talk about his use of language. I will agree he keeps his vocabulary simple. I've heard him slip and drop a 24 carat word when he's absorbed in his subject. He'll immediately catch himself and rephrase into common terms. Plain speech can be very powerful even in monosyllables, but I don't think Trump will ever be a Churchill or a Hemingway. He is more pragmatist than poet.

If you're not lashing out in your response, sometimes you can give another food for thought. This is why good debates are necessary, and another reason why I would like to see a third candidate in the presidential debate. The circular nod in the first clip I've definitely seen specifically in people from India, performed 1-2 times right before a full blown "Indian wobble-nod". On rare occasions I've seen it at a point where you'd expect the wobble nod, but instead it becomes consciously suppressed, usually when around non-Indians. I don't know if that's what VP Harris is doing here but it would make sense, and some 2nd generation kids never fully acquire the entire nod, even if their entire first generation family has this habit. A correctly-timed Indian nod is exquisitely difficult to acquire as a learned behavior, and the few times I've pulled it off I was barely able to speak coherently at the same time. There just seems to be a LOT of neural circuitry involved! So if the Vice President was suppressing this while answering an entrapping interview question, it makes sense that her substituted American combined nod/head shake combination would have a pretty erratic cadence. Of course interpreting the Indian wobble nod is a life lesson in itself. Possible meanings that I've learned include: yes, no, maybe, I have no idea, I'd rather not discuss it, I completely disagree, if you say so (in the tone of American South 'bless your heart') and/or I'm totally indifferent but it seems important to you for some reason. How can someone who hasn't even been to Europe - and this is a lawyer, the daughter of a doctor and a professor - consider themselves qualified to represent the United States to the world? The first thought that came to mind was, "Where *else* haven't you been?" I can't make a good logical argument for why it seems so odd - maybe she's wildly well-travelled through Asia and South American (though I doubt it) - but it just seems, what's the word - sheltered?

I am a Colorado Master Plumber since 1973 Telluride and in the construction trades, it was all about the lead guys getting together while looking at the print, and then proposing a contract to try to get the job. I see Trump as just one of the guys onsite, proposing "fixes" for the many issues that are a constant in any blueprint building contract. and sending out the right teams to finish it. As a plumbing sub contractor in early Telluride we saw the benefits of having really good lead guys around to keep their eye on the finished product. Trump is a great lead guy in the construction trades and he absolutely knows how to read a print and put together teams. We should give him the bid because his tract record of performance as a builder is exceptional, take out politics, just get her done.

They calculated his wealth at 21 and increased it by savings interest (like a regular savings account) and this calculation came to a higher amount than his current wealth / worth. Normally I'd accept at face value the analysis of this team. This case seems apples to oranges because Harris is in a comfortable chair in a one on one setting. Trump is in a TV studio with a 2 minute window to get a point across. He was asked a yes or no question whereas Harris was asked a softball open question. The pressures were vastly different so behaviours will vary.

Odd that when the panel speaks of Harris they discuss her body language, but when discussing Trump they mainly talk about his use of language. I will agree he keeps his vocabulary simple. I've heard him slip and drop a 24 carat word when he's absorbed in his subject. He'll immediately catch himself and rephrase into common terms. Plain speech can be very powerful even in monosyllables, but I don't think Trump will ever be a Churchill or a Hemingway. He is more pragmatist than poet.

@@dilafng , I actually appreciate it at times when I don't hate negative comments, because it brings issues to the surface where you can then debate it. If you're not lashing out in your response, sometimes you can give another food for thought. This is why good debates are necessary, and another reason why I would like to see a third candidate in the presidential debate. So we can catch the main candidates off guard without a rehearsed response to something they are expecting.

You said you googled and discovered that she was the “border czar,” but multiple sources say that she was tasked with addressing the root causes of migration from three Central American countries: Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador. News outlets, including Axios, retracted statements after initially calling her that. This is all easily verifiable.
Why didn’t she visit the border? Moment people hear this they’re gonna dislike her big time on this issue.

Trump is referring to the last election which was very questionable.
The circular nod in the first clip I've definitely seen specifically in people from India, performed 1-2 times right before a full blown "Indian wobble-nod". On rare occasions I've seen it at a point where you'd expect the wobble nod, but instead it becomes consciously suppressed, usually when around non-Indians. I don't know if that's what VP Harris is doing here but it would make sense, and some 2nd generation kids never fully acquire the entire nod, even if their entire first generation family has this habit. A correctly-timed Indian nod is exquisitely difficult to acquire as a learned behavior, and the few times I've pulled it off I was barely able to speak coherently at the same time. There just seems to be a LOT of neural circuitry involved! So if the Vice President was suppressing this while answering an entrapping interview question, it makes sense that her substituted American combined nod/head shake combination would have a pretty erratic cadence.
Of course interpreting the Indian wobble nod is a life lesson in itself. Possible meanings that I've learned include: yes, no, maybe, I have no idea, I'd rather not discuss it, I completely disagree, if you say so (in the tone of American South 'bless your heart') and/or I'm totally indifferent but it seems important to you for some reason.
Hopefully someone with better understanding can weigh in!

Kamala reminds me of a student who hasn’t read her assigned reading and never opened the book. Now, she has to read it and talk about it in front of everyone. The most of the cases she is so unprepared and I think that she thinks that she can handle it without really study or learn what she needs to learn and know as a vice president.
