My cousin was there that day as National Guard. They were ordered to hold position in the parking complex they were set up in. They were only a few minutes walk away, and were denied the chance to help. As the events went on for hours, they could easily have stepped in at a moment's notice. This gentleman said it could only have gone this badly either by incompetence or intentionally. When you add in my cousin's perspective, which of those it was becomes quite clear.

My cousin was there that day as National Guard. They were ordered to hold position in the parking complex they were set up in. They were only a few minutes walk away, and were denied the chance to help. As the events went on for hours, they could easily have stepped in at a moment's notice. This gentleman said it could only have gone this badly either by incompetence or intentionally. When you add in my cousin's perspective, which of those it was becomes quite clear.

By who the only person with authority to have guards stand down was the president and how else could thousands have stormed the capitol which usually has armed guards on roof tops I am tired of hearing some rich old guy telling me he is going to make America great again I am a 68 year older ld widow who worked all my life I have good friend who helps people with cancer and has done so for 20 years another person volunteers riding for the handicap these are the people that have made America great and continue to do so it is insulting to hear someone negate what we as individuals have done so think about that !
