100% you can see it’s different to Moyes
Moyes didn’t want to play with the ball…loppy does…we haven’t got it right yet, but we’re trying to use the ball and build the play far more than any Moyes team did
This is why our forwards are struggling…we are phenomenal on the break, but now we try and build the play, we’re not as good when we try and break teams down
Give it time, will get better as we start to click
You have to be an outstanding team in terms of ability to be able to carve open a settled defence that are in shape and organised
Which is exactly what you end up with when you build up so slowly
I have no issue with possession based football but it has to be positive and forward passing.
Holding the ball for 10 mins in safe areas ain’t for me.
Get 3 points on Saturday and everyone will be happy! Loppy is still an upgrade on moyes, Bowen definitely gets in any team, we are lucky to have him and his loyalty 👍 ⚒️

Agree - love watching my 3 boys play (all different standards) and still do a bit of coaching, but hardly watch it these days other than West Ham and the odd Spanish or German highlights programme if it’s on. Just not the same as the 80s-mid 2000s for me. I last watched a full England game with any remote interest in 1998
Good video, do think it is crucial though for a re sell value in years to come if we bought every player with no sell on clause in a few years we’d be fucked financially after 4/5 years
Our main impediment in playing attacking football is our pedestrian midfield, sell Kudus and buy 2 midfielders !!!

Both Devonshire and Payet played in teams that got the ball forward quickly and attacked
Had they played in a team that built up slow and waited until the opposition defence was completely settled and organised before trying to penetrate they wouldn’t have been half the players they were for us.
This style of football is not designed for individual brilliance to shine

Behave boys ffs . Pep greatest coach ever never been sacked like klopp and won more than klopp could ever dream of. Modern coach and didnt nearly relegated a team . Given alot of cash yes but klopp also given millions. Reason pep plays chess is because no teams attack city all look to counter. Imo
No one said he wasn’t the greatest. However, it was a question about which style we preferred to watch. Mine is Klopps football all day long
@johnosborneakavirgil7490 Yep I get you but teams playing against Liverpool don't sit in their own half defending like they do against city and pep. That's why pep always as you watch have to break down 10 players in their own half every time. We actually attacked city from the off and we looked good surprisingly for 20mins that also caught out city but then couldn't keep it up. Can't see many if any doing that to city like we did . Relying on counter only.
