Hi EN, This video brought me to this channel, as a matter of fact i follow several others playing this game and see how they do. Ive played this game 2x on my old pc and on my new one, its a world of change if you have a beast of a pc. This game however is the best game, graphics wise, story wise, acting etc. It just is. This game has not only the main missions as the side missions, but also allot of treasures and hidden gold and also a partly revealed map. When you say no spoilers, i get that but i would say to people: do not spoil the games story. Other things like treasure, or hidden acts wich you will not find allot on your own, its best to say "ok public you can help me with that because there is a ton of them" . But only if it does not include the main game story. From your new Subscriber from The Netherlands 👍🏽😇
hi Adison, I'm really excited for your RDR2 journey, it's gonna be the best gaming experience in your life :D I have a few tips for you: 1. Do pay attention to your core (health, stamina, dead eye). Refill them whenever necessary by eating provisions, etc even if you're in the middle of a shootout. And every provision has different properties to it, some heal your health, some heal your stamina, some heal your dead eye, just look at the description. I have watched some streamers who did not care for Arthur's cores / used the wrong items and it was a lil bit annoying XD 2. The story is one of the reason that makes this game a masterpiece, so I suggest you really pay attention to the story, each of the dialogues, and try to remember the character names and personality as well. Just like when you started a new TV series :) 3. This will be one of the most realistic and detailed game there is, so I suggest you really take the time to explore EVERYTHING, even if they have nothing to do with the main story. Just relax and explore the map, interact with everything, loot everything, do the side missions as much as you can BEFORE finishing the main story, and you're good. 4. Change the control settings to "Toggle to Run" so you don't have to keep tapping/holding the X button to keep Arthur running. This helped me a lot And for anyone who's watching, PLEASE DO NOT SPOIL ANYTHING FOR ADISON :) not even like "xxx is a good character, xxx is a bad character" "I hate xxx" it's considered as a spoiler people!
When Arthur told the reverend he was introducing him to his other passions…he was referring to morphine. He was giving John some for the pain and the reverend has an addiction to morphine.
So back then, people had problems with the dead having post reflex where their eyes would pop open. Until they discovered that they could glue the eyes shut, they would put coins over them to keep them weighted and it worked as a homage. In ancient times they placed coins over their eyes as a way for the dead to afford to cross the sea of the dead boated by Charon (definitely in Greek religion)

Side missions are just as important & very interesting. Have fun!!

Dude! I wish I could erase this game from my memory just so I could experience it all over again for the first time. You're in for a hell of a treat my man! Best game ever made.
There is no single right way of doing this. Whether you play RDR1 before RDR2, or RDR2 before RDR1, there's pros and cons to both. RDR2 happens before RDR1, but RDR1's graphics and gameplay are of lower quality because it was made before RDR2. You can play them in any order, its fun no matter what and makes total sense. Chill out and enjoy both games.
My MawMaw and Pawpaw were as country as they come. They had an old saying to call someone dirty “They would take the pennies off a dead man’s eyes”. It’s an old tradition I believe had to do with keeping the eyes shut. Not 100% sure though. I have multiple playthroughs and absurd hours in this game. Only advice I’ll give is that there is TONS of missable content. I’m talking story missions too, not collectibles/ hunting etc. So take it slow, try to free roam to find missions prompts with white markers and always do those first. White mission markers are missable. Yellow mission markers push the story forward. That is all ch2 and forward. Greatest game of all time, it’s a big boy though. Hope you dig it.
@@VrickzGamer 60 FPS is much better than 30. I play the game at 144 FPS on a 2K monitor, and I can definitely recommend enjoying the game that way. I'm not sure what GPU you have, but you wanna get 60 if you can

You missed the tutorial for deadeye. It lets you slow down time and tag multiple enemies before shooting them all at once (similar to vats in fallout) When aiming your weapon press R3 to activate deadye. Use tonics to replenish it when empty ✌🏻
Oh I am so excited for this! I just recently finished playing RDR2 myself! Like you, I have not played the first game yet. I loved so much, but I admit I had some doubts in the beginning. But now I can safely say this is the best game I've ever played.
Maaaan I started playing this months ago and am still not finished. I play a lot of other games too but I've dumped a lot of hours into red dead 2 and I'm like 75% done. Amazing game though, definitely pay attention to the cutscenes and story. It's top notch. Funny tho cause fallout and Hogwarts are two of my other favorite games. Good taste my dude. You would look into the farcry series at some point, think you would really enjoy it.
Howdy, partner! Welcome to the wonderful world of RDR2. This game definitely takes some time to get the hang of and it definitely just throws you into the story. You can also get your hair and facial hair cut in differant styles as well rather than simply trimming it yourself. But yeah once you set up the camp your free to do whatever with the gaming opening up.
Yeah, when you're free to roam it's much more fun. I was obsessed with dressing up Arthur. Funny thing is when I watched "Killers of the Flower Moon", Leonardo Dicaprio was wearing similar outfits to my Arthur lol. FYI Adison, I'm expecting your drip to be on point for RD2. During the live stream, the game kept prompting R3 (dead eye) but he never used it. Hopefully he'll see it and use it next time because hat function is critical to the missions. Having said that, I think some people expect too much from Adison. He seems the type to just enjoy exploring the game. A lot of people who play RD2 are devoted gamers. My friends who played this game are gamers too so they can spend hours honing down skills and can fight like a psycho with only 1% life left. They've had a lot of practice with other games too. Generally people who video game on the side take a bit more time to see the prompts and remember the commands. RD2 is a lot to take in to be honest because there is so much you can do. Other games are far more repetitive I think.
I'm not saying you are not bad dudes, and criminals. Read up on the history of the railroads and the Pinkertons, and you won't feel so bad about what you did. These were not innocents. They're just bigger more powerful bullies and criminals.
