Hey I’m only 10 but me and my brother have cousins that live in Alloa so we both are wanting to go to Stirling university so we are not too far away from home. I live in Tiree btw
Hello! Great video, I’m planning on applying but I’m an international student and I was wondering how’s life for international students? Are people welcoming/friendly? Any advice?
Yasmine Sherif so I have a few international friends and they’re really happy here. They’ve found it just the same as being a UK student. I think it’s obviously a bigger move but surrounding yourself with supportive people is the best. You’d love it though. My friends have basically just stayed here lol 😂
Hey Sophie! Thanks for such a detailed video on the university. I’ll most likely be there next year in September for masters. I have played football for my school team a lot, not for my college. I’m in pretty good shape and would love to become a part of the University’s team. Could you please provide some information about joining a sports team at Stirling? Like, I am interested in joining the football team, so what would be the process for that? Do they take international postgraduate students for trials or anything like that? Does the university provide you some help or reward you in any way if you represent them at the top level. I am asking these questions because I am pretty good at playing football. I didn’t play for my college because there isn’t much scope of football in my country (INDIA). However, Stirling’s team is quite popular and does well. So, any kind of information regarding this would extremely helpful. Thanks in advance! 🙂🙏🏼
Hi there thanks for getting in touch. To be honest. Every sport is different and I don’t know much about the football team. Sorry I can’t be more help. I’d recommend messaging the sports union on Instagram or Facebook. They’ll know more than me 😊
penny firth I was in ASH and Juniper and they were lovely. I actually have a video of things I took to uni. But recommend homely things. Kitchen stuff. Nice bedding. Fairy lights. Pictures. All the jazz.
whats a good uni for primary teaching undergrad in scotland as an international student from the us? im looking at sterling since it seems good and its not too expensive but if you have any recommandations please recommend!
In terms of good Uni’s in Scotland I’d say Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee, ST Andrews. Are great to look at. But really it all comes down to where you’d be happiest living xx
I have got an offer from Stirling and Dundee and cannot choose which one I should go to.... I am an international student and would love to have your suggestions about which university to choose for an accounting and finance degree
Boobi Sand I’m obviously biased so can only say how much I’ve loved Stirling. I’ve absolutely loved my time here so far but it’s individual. Sorry if that doesn’t help 🙈
Boobi Sand obviously at the moment it is totally different but usually there’s so much. There’s so many cafes and restaurants here and you can work as a student ambassador too. Hope that helps
I’m sure it was £99.99 for gym and pool membership. That’s likely to go up though with the new facilities. I can find out how much membership was last year for you.
