What a fun camera choice! I shot a Holga for the Frugal Film Project a few years ago and you’re exactly right - 12 frames can be a lot more manageable than 36.

Really good photography. Look up Michael Kenna and his work with a Holga. You won't be disappointed.

I think people get too tied up with goals. They should trying their life with no goals for awhile and see how it suits them. I've owned a bunch of Holgas, they just all break on me way too often. Great camera though. Good luck!

I don’t know sometimes goals are good. It’s just a discipline, like working out 3 times a week to keep yourself fit and keeping your body healthy. While having too many goals is unsustainable and plain depressing 😅

I'm also a member of The Frugal film project 24 on Facebook I'm having a lot of fun there I bought an as-is canon elan 7ne from KEH for $38 and a Canon EF 35-80 mm III lens for $10 from eBay and had to repair both of them and they perform very well now the film I'm using this year kentmere pan 400 24 frames I also got my wife Kim involved with it she's having a lot of fun with her Pentax IQ Zoom 200 a thrift store fine for $20. as always I enjoy your videos keep up the good work and get out and shoot :)

Great shots -- nice warm filmstock, and I do think that the glass lens and 'focus' settings helped these shots rise above typical Holga shots. Another FFP member here -- you can make it for the whole year! I'll encourage you if you need it!!!! 😁

No photos are rubbish, even if they come from cameras like a Holga! If you want to get the "exact" piccie that you see by eye, just remember to adjust for the parallax between the viewfinder and the lens to get it pointing where you want it.
