Not this garbage again lol They literally said he killed his mother at the hospital while she was giving birth. Homelander wouldn't be blond with blue eyes if his mom was stormfront. Also he would insanely more powerful and Ryan would have no hopes of ever surpassing him, however its an important point that Ryan has the potential to surpass Homelander.In fact the writers said his heat vision is already much stronger(they really said that) Yet his mother is human. Stormfront can NOT be his mother. Ryan is literally supposed to be more pure than Homelander,therefore Homelanders mother can not be Stormfront. If she was then he would be like 3 times stronger than Soldier Boy lol
I get an aneurysm every time someone says his mother is Stormfront. His mother was propably a blond woman,it makes sense cause he was first attracted to that blond older woman in Season 1 and they had kind of a mother thing. She most likely was a lot like his mother

MV missed the fact that Stormfront's previous identity was Liberty Bell, & that she knew Soldier Boy - they started that crazy uh- 'yearly superhero retreat' together...
I love both the actors in their roles as Soldier Boy and Homelander however they have some flaws being chosen to play father and son. Jensen looks younger which doesn't help the dynamic at all and Anthony is also nearly 2 inches shorter which doesn't help the whole "Upgrade" narrative. It just always bugged me a bit cause Homelander LOOKS like a downgrade appearance wise, Soldier Boy was tortured for decades and he looks fresh,he is also in way better shape physically and better looking in general Maybe they could have gave Soldier Boy a bit of grey side burns and make him look a bit older than HM. Since Homelander is like a factory made product shouldn't he look upgraded too? They could have easily fixed those things if they wanted too
maybe soldier boy aging slower is a trait only he has and wasnt passed on to homelander. and height really doesn’t matter when you have homelanders strength. but yeah they really couldve got a better soldier boy cause homelanders casting is perfect

@@jettysfuneral IIRC the comics went more into that, Soldier Boy and Stormfront got a more pure/expensive version of compound V, so they were either not aging or at least were doing so very slowly. More recent supers did not have this since the company developed a cheaper variant of the formula by the time Homelander was created.
Soldier boy was unkillable and they didn't like that he agreed very slowly so he couldn't even sure from natural causes. They engineered homelander with a clock. Planned obsolescence
