All those long-gone nights. Waking up at 3 AM, washing your face and making yourself a hot cup of coffee. Taking a look out of your window and seeing the apartment blocks around yours starting to light up like Christmas trees. A proud and satisfactory moment if there ever was one, as you realize all those people got up to watch the Kings. Serbia, 2004.
Serbians, Croatians...the Balkans in general, very talented at all sports (football basketball, tennis, volleyball etc...). Respect from Enugu, NIgeria.
My favorite player ever. I fell in love with that team at 6 living in southern CA in 2001 and the way he shot the ball would get me so pumped. On commercials I would go outside and shoot on my court then run back in to watch the game. Him and that Kings team are some of my happiest childhood memories. Peja will always be my favorite player because I loved him as a kid and I will always be a Kings fan.
And it was for him, actually still is. I watched TV show couple of years ago and he was shooting with small, light, plastic ball to the small plastic rim from far away and he was 3/5... Man with the ball size like a tennis ball and he wasn't practicing at all. The goal of the show was to win in basketball against Pedja. The dude had incredible touch. His jumper is perfect.
Stop the cap if he had the go-ahead to shoot the ball like curry . It lights out, but he has low post player's to feed in today's game he would be a killer from beyond the arch @theblackestsamurai
In my opinion, the best Kings superstar. He was in MVP talks during his prime and one of the best shooters. I'm glad he retired with a ring thanks to Dallas.
Peja my favorite player of all time! I remember 2002 and world championship, ufff one of the best feelings in my life, yugoslavia world champ 2002 , Peja MVP !!!!!
As a Mavs fan I remember hating this guy with a passion because he would always make game winning clutch 3 pointers against Dallas so it felt so good when that bully was finally on you team and helped win a championship.
My all time favorite player. Dude was amazing and especially since I was such a young little kid I thought his shot was impossible to stop. It seemed as though everything was going to go in. What made it even more amazing is that the entire Kings team was disgustingly good. Wow what a fun team they were to watch and what a great era for those Kings fans out there. I'm pretty sure the Kings won the championship in every NBA fans' heart the year they were robbed in LA.
Miss so much those years. I'm from Brazil, but actually managed to buy a Peja bubblehead back in 2002 and those days shipping things to Brazil was the hardest thing ever. Such a shame Petrie, Horrible Adelman and Dick Bavetta managed to keep us away from titles.
Tyrone Biggums if wasn't for the sorry coach they had"Rick Adelman"! The Kings were blowing out the lakers(yes Kobe & Shaq!) in game six of the western finals. And he pulls the whole starting lineup close to the beginning of the 3rd quarter. Suddenly the lakers make a smart decision to put their starters back in the game. So now its Lakers starters vs Kings bench for almost a quarters worth of time!(can somebody say comeback!) Adelman never puts the Kings starters back in until close to the end of the game. Thus basically giving the Lakers the momentum to win game 7! So yeah they should have been NBA champs! Adelman!!!!!!!!

That last pass was sick! Amazing ability to even perceive something like that while fighting for the ball, let alone being able to execute a pass that long behind the back. PEJA!
One of the best to ever play for the Kings, one of the best snipers, one of the best international players, and a player is wished would've played with Pierce in his early career (can you imagine trying to guard two inside-out wing players).
Lets take a second to remember how crucial that Kings team was back in the day, Peja, Doug Christie, Bibby, Webber, Bobby Jackson, Divac, Türkoğlu and a young super athletic Gerald Wallace!
I absolutely remember watching him as a little kid. I always loved Peja. I always felt he was was a great player overall. Especially with his shooting ability.
He completed the Kings team. Both, him and Webber. Having a tall ass small forward that can score inside and out is always an outstanding benefit. And what's funny is it seemed like the point guards were basically Webber and Divac.
my favorite team growing up and the most exciting team to watch in my opinion the early 2000's Sacramento Kings. and that pass by Peja is unreal, full court behind the back bullet, hitting bobby jackson on the money
Stojakovic, Divac, Webber, Bibby. Was such a great team back in the early 2000's. That's when I started to get into the NBA and I remember them playing the arguably GOAT Lakers and bringing it to a 7th game (if my memory serves me correctly). Stojakovic has to be one of the best clutch shooters ever.
ONE OF MY FAVORITE SNIPERS 2 WATCH..... DUDE WAS ONE OF THE BEST 3 POINT SHOOTERS EVER BUT THOSE DAMN INJURIES..... BUT IT WAS GOOD 2 SEE HIM GET A CHAMPIONSHIP WITH THE MAVS.....
Considering positions, this are the best european NBA players ever: Center position: Sabonis, Power forward: Vlade Divac (I would place him on PF), Small Forward: Dirk Nowitzki, Shooting Guard: Drazen Petrovic, Point Guard: Tony Parker. And on the bench would be: Toni Kukoc, Peja Stojakovic, Dino Radja, Pau Gasol, Ricky Rubio, Turkoglu. I think this team would won 3 or 4 NBA championships in a row.
Deltric Cummings And in the end, Virgin Islands are not europe, so even if he didnt played for USA, again he would not be able to enter into this team lol, just like Ginobilli.
u are damn right, man. Those reminiscent plays brought me back to the days I loved to imitate no-look passes on court like Webber and the others. Nothing matches the passion, creativities and improvis shown by the "Kings".And one name, absolutely carved on the crown,is Rick Adelman. They are my one and only champion.
That behind-the-back pass. The 2001 Kings team was probably the best passing squad in NBA history. Chris Webber, Vlade, Peja, and Jason Williams were all elite, but JWill was not ready for the playoffs. The following team, with Bibby at the helm instead of JWill, was robbed of a chip in 2002.

Agreed, that was absolutely amazing.
Lebrons passes are nba history
That was an absolutely ridiculous pass. I can't believe it. The precision... and it was sooooo ballsy to try it. Fantastic player
Serbians, Croatians...the Balkans in general, very talented at all sports (football basketball, tennis, volleyball etc...). Respect from Enugu, NIgeria.
In Serbia, everybody loved Nigeria's national football team in late 90's, and players like Babangida and Babayaro.
love nigeria.
Mad respect
Nigeria football team 90s : Amokachi, Ikpeba, Kanu, Babangida, Okocha, Oliseh, Taribo West, Babayaro, Rufai gk 💪💪

i remember him making 7/7 threes in the fourth game of the lakers-mavs series 2011
He was actually 6/6 from 3PT and 7/7 from FG overall but yeah he was tearing it up that game.
I'll never forget how peja and the mavs whooped our ass in 2011
CeddyMontana Same, that game 4 was just a bombardment of 3's with nonexistent defense. Couldn't believe I was watching the 2 time reigning Champs.
it was a redemption game for his airball 3 in game 7 back in 2002 haha
good thing DAL went on to embarrass the MIA lebron in teh 4th quarter heat
3:10 OMFG, that behind the back pass is the best of all. That f**king blew my mind. Never expected that ever.
That's the type of shit you'd see in warmups, not an actual game lol... Crazy
In my opinion, the best Kings superstar. He was in MVP talks during his prime and one of the best shooters. I'm glad he retired with a ring thanks to Dallas.

Peja is the most underrated shooter in nba hisory. His shot is wetter than anyone in the nba today. Jason kapono was also pretty wet.
he'll be a superstar in today's game especialyl with his height when you consider his shooting and handles
