The 1st year of their life somewhere between birth and when it turns one year old is 20 years old compared to the humans age. Times the age of the horse by 3 add the 20. Example 3 year old times 3 = 9 + add the 1st year 20. You 3 year old human age 29. Makes a big difference how you care for your extra large baby. The more you love them, they return that kindness.
