Come on man, You need that cap !
Absolutely right. The cap is there to keep crap out of the bearings & supply an amount of grease to come back into the outer bearing.
I have a 1986 300e. I am installing a complete new exhaust system now. I purchased a set of AMG wheels in Europe a few years ago, that are similar to yours but no where near as deep. I just spent Approx 30 hours super detailing my chassis and drive train.
These are amazing cars, but I would recommend you also spend some time under your car, in addition to wheel enhancement.
Get your car safely off the ground that you can comfortably lay under it. I brush clean everything using WD-40 as a cleaning fluid, and then wipe by hand , repeating as neccessary everywhere. Then I paint with a good quality anti rust paint in semi gloss black,
and do the engine in a high heat silver after taping off black parts like the trans pan, etc. these 300E’s are worth the effort, they are
so we’ll made, and will last a lifetime. Your wheels look great by the way.
what kind of exhaust system did you end up going with? I’ve been looking for one for my 89 300e
*Всем владельцам MERCEDES здравия и благополучия ! Были W201, W140, третий год на W124(2.0, ручка, pierburg, самоблок). Я заглянул в Вечность !*
This is my goal, ive been wating to get the same rims lol, I got a 1995 e320. I love seeing w124 e320 videos, not enough out there, mostly e500 & e60's. Beautiful car bro!!
They look fantastic. How I wish those rims were produced in a set of 16's. 17's and especially 18's are just too big for my 500 SEC.
Yes, you're right. These staggered rims may suit some applications, but not the older classic cars. When you have to modify your car by pumping fenders & adding spacers, it's just not worth the effort!
I think for a long car like the SEC the 17s are fine
By leaving the dust cap of centre hub will burn the hub bearing by using brakes and rotation the grease turns like fluid to lubricate the bearing when cool it turns thick again as grease if driven with grease cap of like melted candle wax it will all drip out leaving no coolant for bearing allowing it to burn and fall apart end of bearing
+1. Hey Igant BK .. The Big/Wide wheels look great. .. I'd inherit an uncle's C124 '94 E-320 Coupe years ago. . The original Sportline Pkg. 15x7" et41 8-hole alloys appeared very small 1990s style... Damn those 8-hole 15-inch alloys are small!! .. To keep ride control, braking & handling as MB engineers designed, I'd source a 4-set of MB 16x7.5" et41 from the W210. .
A new Plus 1 in tire size (205x55HR16 Pilot Sports 4s) did the trick! .. The coupe's wheel wells look remarkable stock,,, not like a Clown car. .. The OE Sportline rim/tire size; is 205/60/VR15" .. Shrimp sized 1990s style. .. Drive Safe... Long live the W124 .. Engineered Like No Other...
Nice .. didn't know 18" can fit.. I bought 15" new rims for my own.. but your's fit perfectly..
No, they don't. They are the wrong fitment for this car because the mounting flange is too shallow.
I got the same wheels but staggered. I didn’t need spacers for the front but needed them for the rears so I just shaved my calipers until they cleared. Luckily wasn’t much. You definitely want that grease cap on tho. Car looks terrific
Диски улёт! Наконец-то нормальный и четкий обзор ! Как мерс едет сейчас, не бьет ни чего?
Just need spacers on front no rubbing rides good
Good job, great rims ,they look so niceeeeee on Mercedes! I bought the same for W140 fits perfect... tell me what size of tires you put on front and back?
Amazing looking car , if I were you I’d go with 17 inch
Where did you buy the wheels?
ship the link bro
I have the same wheel on my w124 but 17 inch looks nice
W124s were meant to be taken offroad not slammed XD in standard form they have so much clearance. Ours has been through small rivers and thick sand roads without probems :) Monos look damn good on here though can't lie!
Thank you
W124’s are meant to be slammed, turbo’d, drifted, off road or cruisers….everyone has there own taste but the car itself is ready for any condition.
Buy a truck if you want to go off-road
parabéns pelo bom gosto!! ficou excelente, tenho um w210 kompressor do ano 2001 e também quero comprar essas jantes.
Looks good just 1 inch drop on front and two &1/4 on rear and get those spacers milled asap you need those caps on the front
when I was moving I had my benz full and it dropped like 3 inches looked amazing then empty looked bunk add weight
I am not a jealous man but damn I might just be right now LOL.
She looks really good.👍
Chulada saludos desde Honduras
I love 2 pac car whea......old but gold
Where did you order them from i have a 95 s320
any issues going 80mph+? I had original 17 monoblocks but they were rubbing a lot in front when going over bumps on highway. Had to change back to stock bc I prefer fast ride. Looks dope tho
Mint👌👌
is your steering affected by the spacers in the front wheels?
Mercedes Benz in da House, in da Club!✌😎❤🌹👍
Dont u think the 18" rims will hinder the car's performance to some degree?
What's your dog's names? I like the rim's shipping quality. incredible!
Looks really cool.
I use to own 1994 E320 Coupe and installed OZ Antares 8/18'' (all 4) rims without any spacers (don't remember the tire size though, also were the same for all 4 wheels). It was strait replacement. However, very often the tires (both front and rear) hit the wheel arch and front fender moulding panel when drove at high speed uneven road surface. Do you have such issues?
I have had issues like that on the front with 17 inch monoblocks
nice. on my car R-18 front 235/40 rear 265/35
Nice…what tyre size you’re using? 225/40/18?
Perfect!
Beautiful wheels!!!
Awesome wheels, can you please send me the link where I can get those wheels?
Very beatiful! Bravo!
👍👍👍👍👍
Hey Minnesota guy.. Me too.. Nice fkn ride them wheels look best on the 124 imho
Aren't the tires rubbing against the wheels arches ? I'm planning on getting 17" monoblocks for my 230CE and I'd like to know wether it'd fit right away without any modification ! :)
No rubbing, 17 will probably fit good might have to run spacers based on off set and stuff
Benz is the greatest....seven
Could you please write down rims size and tires size ? Example: 225/40R18
225/40R18 and 235/40R18
Looks good, man.
How to drop the rear?
Now just put an M119 engine in it!!
Hi appreciate if you could let me know any shaking of the steering wheel at high speed since spacers are added to the two front wheels. Thank you
No shaking
Sweet man
😍💪👍
Very nice 👌
nice looking Mercedes you got there you got any mods done to it
Just the wheels for now but I have a amg body kit I want to put on it
@@IgnatBK cool
@@IgnatBK Next throw a later model C32 AMG V6 in it ;)
You have any problems with the tires being a little thinner than the previous ones with potholes?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
will you be doing a wide body kit and skirts? then you don't need any lowering
What’s the size of the center cap Mercedes logo ?
Please give the link where you bought them I need some 😂
🔥👏🏻
why not get the spacer machined at the back of it so it fits over the cap?
You think 18 inch an 9,5 inch will fit on the back?
Possibly with the right offset or spacers

car is to high at the back
Super super super super!!! Yawn dope????? English please
You either got the wrong wheels or the wrong spacer, take your pick. These rims should have cleared the caliper & the spacer should have been machined to accept the grease cap. Either way, the grease cap has to go back on, otherwise MB would have left it off if we go by your apotheosis. Stupid move leaving it off & those who have done this conversion should know. Put simply, the reverse side of the rim is incorrect for this fitment. The relief between the mounting flange & the wheel hub is too shallow for correct fitment without modification by at least 5-10mm. Only a fool who is not mechanically minded would follow this guy. Nothing like genuine AMG Monobloks in a smaller size should be fitted without a silly bullshit decal. Because this is a W124 series Merc. they will not fit. These 18"wheels are designed for the W210 & 211 platform because the fenders are already pumped by Mercedes. Should have used 17"" x 8J front & rear.
100%. This is a perfect example of how not to do it.
@@RothBeyondTheGrave Tell that to some here who carry on like idiots because you try & help someone who obviously hasn't a clue. Thanks for your reply!
Spot on i made up my mind on 17s from c36 amg
Fact is I just bought a 2003 W211 E320 in absolutely incredible condition & am fitting a set of 17" Staggered 8"& 9" AMG Monoblocks & they fit like you would not believe without mods. The W124's are meant to have the 15" & 16" Monoblocks & that's it. Mercedes changed the body shape & inner fenders on the W210 & W211 so these wider AMG wheels can be fitted correctly!
Holy cow. The truth hurts. Thanks for the information.
I ride a 1998 SL500 Sport Package with 18” amg rims 245/40. Looking for deeper monoblock rims, any suggestions? Links?
Please come out with more Benz videos
I got a e55 project I’m making video on stay tuned
