Instead of burning natural gas in flares polluting the air they should put it in pipelines or liquify it and sell it for fuel. They have the technology!
Possibly the worst culprits of unapologetic, intentional pollution in the world. They also sensor or hide results of independent research into the pollution levels in the UAE. AQI readings are consistently the worst in the world or top 5 offenders
Too much smoke in the atmosphere is to be blamed for the deaths in the Middle East; their oil and gas activity should be regulated and reduced or prohibited temporarily.
What's going on? This should be stopped, and what a complete waste of precious gas what could be used! Russia does a lot of gas flaring, just to lazy to capture it!

Why don't simply use the gas to produce electricity instead of just flaring it?
i guess companies are just heartless and dont want to help people.

Question, why they dont have gas to liquid plants (GTL) in place to mange this.
Some countries use that gas. I think they will have that technology soon to eliminate air pollution.
