Like Micah doing the 2 iron give a way, Grant should give a way 1 oz of whatever it is he's smoking that causes him to decide to do a golf video and then forget to bring his clubs.
Yeh. Emm. Definitely some sour space candy. Your just living in the moment. Let's go to the course. No shit. When I first played at a course I was toked. That's all you need. Perspective. Alcohol bad. Beat all my buddies I didn't drink. Puff Puff you lose. Tried to tell em. Took there money. Just saying. Dial in in. You'll Love it.
This might actually make an interesting series. You could go to multiple different courses and clubs, try their rental sets, and see how low you can go with them. The varying quality of the sets would make things more challenging and entertaining.
Grant shows up to the course to film a golf video, forgets his clubs, plays with a 20 year old ball he finds instead of buying a sleeve at the pro shop, then explains he’s playing stroke play when he is the only one playing 🤣 drug test incoming man
Muddy ball to Taylormade upgrade then a few holes later and he's got a Callaway? How is that your ball in the bush? Lmao 🤣 Grant you play great golf man and I enjoy your videos here and all the good good videos with all the crew
My dads best friend is the course superintendent here at Stevens Park, it's such a pure course and has a BEAUTIFUL view of downtown Dallas on one of the holes on the back 9!! I highly recommend this course to the DFW locals!! I need to get another round out there soon.
Grant thank you so much for this video you mentioned how you like to keep your hands low. I came home and hit a bunch with my hands as low as I could get. I been bunching up and having my hands a little elevated. 👊
I play 919 forged irons and absolutely love them. Also my clubs were fit 2* upright in 2019 I just went back in and had my lie/loft checked and they were all a bit off because I practice on mats a lot. Basically my fitter and I also found out that I get better ball flight with a degree flat which was surprising since I was 2* upright. It’s been stripe show since. Cool video making lemonade out of lemons
Smooth tempo like yours cures a lot of misfitment issues. My swing speed puts me in s300-x100 range but I really love the feel or r300s. Had to hit ladies clubs in Hawaii last year and after about 15 min on the range they felt like butter. Looks like u liked them too.
Gotta say I really liked this video. Very much like the video you did with 2nd hand clubs. Your a great all around golfer I feel like this is the type of content that will definitely make you a fun TH-camr. Especially because you used to be so stuck on using your upright golf clubs that were 2” longer lol. Garrett seems to excel with a random club I feel like you could do that as well but in a different type of content. Rental clubs on vacation because not everyone has there clubs with them. 2nd hand clubs on a budget for the guy that went out played with rental clubs and said yeah this is the game for me. Keep up the great work
grant it's nice to see someone with a high golf IQ explaining that you can make anything work. too many people use fitting as a crutch without realizing that a competent player can hit anything, and that fitting is to make it easier for the player to time the club head, not to fix foundational issues. you've been a breath of fresh air in goodgood because i think that generally the guys aren't as golf smart as they should be. they're definitely golf talented, but tend not to care at all about the science behind it. also the reason you're puring those irons is because they are demanding a smoother tempo due to poor shaft fit. but i'm sure you know that. a club can tell you how to swing it, and if you give it what it wants, it will reward you. being attentive to what your equipment needs will always make you better. you may be taking visual cues from the rental clubs that help you to get into a better place with your hands from a striking perspective, but at the same time being excessively flat with irons doesn't always pay dividends. it seems to me that you might want to visit both extremes again and find your vanilla. anyone who plays excessively in either direction is usually chasing the dragon, and vanilla is usually what they need.
Great round Grant. Bad holes happen. Remember golf is 50% physical and 100% mental. LOL. Respect, love watching you and the boys golf. Shout out from Vancouver Island British Columbia
I found the same thing out I’m playing a plus 3 on the lie angle and it was causing high hands. So now I just make sure when I set the club down I make sure the toe is off the ground a little which lowers my hands and I notice a huge difference.
About 20 years ago I shot a really nice round (for me) with rental clubs that were so old that the driver was wood (and a few of the irons would have been better off if they were wood as well). 😆 I also shot my 2nd best round ever while being crushed by a terrible sinus infection. I think that sometimes we dial in and focus better when we are uncomfortable. Very nice round, especially when you had to play with an orphaned ball! Enjoying the videos. I'm 53 and have been playing over 25 years and still loving it, although now that I'm semi retired, I find that I have to limit how often I play or else I start getting lazy with my game. 🙂
Congrats to your cameraman, (or woman). I know you can't keep quiet when holding the camera and neither can any of the GoodGood guys. I know Micah has his wife film a lot of his content so tell us who is behind the camera. Inquiring minds want to know. This was a fun video and I enjoyed it a lot. Your positive attitude and constant smile make golf look fun instead of frustrating (like it is for me). Keep up the good work.
The trick is to hit a gap wedge with a putting stroke instead of the 54, nice and easy, ball up in the stance, weight on the front foot, locked arms and wrists and a putting stroke. Works every time. Want less roll out for short pins, everything is the same except put the ball way back in the stance.
That was a great round, especially with random clubs. If you had made par on that one hole you’d have finished 2 under par, but still and impressive round of golf. Love watching you play.
It would be very cool if you learned some greens keeping, used the Sunday products to maintain it, and did a series on how golf courses are maintained and how different conditions impact play
Bro you said it. I'm a 16 HCP rn. Im constantly trying to get better. My best rounds come when im swinging free with no expectation. I was on track to shoot an 82, noticed my score and the last three holes I blew up shot a 90. Litterally double par my last 3 bc of trying too hard. Swing free and just hit the ball relaxed and boom....im doing better. Hopefully that can get me into the single digits by the end of the year
Great round of golf that really shows the clubs don't make the golfer! On the whole changing the lie aspect you may want to play a couple more rounds before jumping into the change. Love the content Grant, keep it up!
I can see that you were playing Stevens Park in Dallas. It’s a public course owned by the city. Try and play the rest of the city owned courses. You won’t be disappointed.
MUST OF BEEN SOME EDITING AS WAS USING A TAYLORMADE BALL THEN SAYS HE FOUND HIS CALLAWAY BALL IN TRESS AFTER BLOCKING IT RIGHT LOOKED MORE LIKE A SHANK PROPER SUSPECT
I feel like you’d benefit from having a putter like that Ping with a softer face with how aggressive your stroke is. Your speed was much better with this putter!
i think flatter lies are better for people who are naturally athletic, who naturally want to swing around/use their core more, and people with longer arms. you get a more penetrating ball flight too.
Grant!? The feeling when you go to the course. When you go back to your trunk back of your truck or SUV and realize. I forgot my clubs. How? Well they're probably in Garret's Jeep. LMAO. Look I respect you alot. But I'm gonna laugh. Good thing you found that super soft. Just wondering How did you get those tees? Lol. Grant your top shelf and a great player. I can say your built different. And we all are. It would be boring as piss if we were all the same look forward to whenever you play. Really appreciate you and what you do bro
I've always wondered, is there any reason why you switch between the claw grip on some puts, and a more "conventional" one on others? I've experimented a lot with my putting grip, and what I do I don't think is probably correct, but it's more-or-less a baseball grip or 10 finger grip to a normal club. I'm very much a "feel" player, and that grip allows me to really "feel" as if I have control over my putter.
@@SithkalekGolfAndGaming Same here.. That's why I like "thinner" grips on my putter, vs those big Jumbo Max ones.. Since my index finger lays half on the grip, and half along the club shaft..
I'm 6ft 5 and I have a 1 degree up on my iron I feel like I need to go another half a degree up I have to keep my hands to low Through The Hitting Zone
Grant, you had a pro fit your clubs for your swing. Don’t get them bent, just keep grindin brotha! Keep the videos coming and above all, have fun and relax. Golf is NEVER perfect and you’re doing just fine!! Now, go get your clubs back😂😂
Like Micah doing the 2 iron give a way, Grant should give a way 1 oz of whatever it is he's smoking that causes him to decide to do a golf video and then forget to bring his clubs.
He said 420 drive. Right Grant.
😂😂😭😂😭😂😂
I think most of the GG guys live on 420 drive if you know what I'm saying. Minus Bubbie of course.
Grant can't even remember to bring a tee 😂
Yeh. Emm. Definitely some sour space candy. Your just living in the moment. Let's go to the course. No shit. When I first played at a course I was toked. That's all you need. Perspective. I’m interested in how the Sunday fertilizer works in his back yard. Keep us up to date Grant.
😭😭😭
Agreed, each Saturday match should include a weekly update of the lawn.
This might actually make an interesting series. You could go to multiple different courses and clubs, try their rental sets, and see how low you can go with them. The varying quality of the sets would make things more challenging and entertaining.

Love watching this guy great golf attitude
Never gets pissed

I came here to say this! He said “that’s my Callaway super soft” and I went 🤔 he said Taylormade … lol

Proof (as if it were ever needed) that it's all about the skill of the player, the clubs count very little. Awesome round of golf (minus the snowman)!
Grant, please keep us posted on the lawn recovery.
+1 with rentals... just wow. Good video Grant.
Thanks man!
Graaaant, I've had that same PING putter since 1999. Would never give it up... been very very good to me....rolls the ball so nice...Reed
Grant thank you so much for this video you mentioned how you like to keep your hands low. I came home and hit a bunch with my hands as low as I could get. I been bunching up and having my hands a little elevated. 👊

Grant if you go back and look at your Mizuno fitting, they suggested that you have a flatter lie of your clubs
Haha, yes, "has to be stroke play by yourself" had me rolling!
I game the 919 HMPs, the ST190 driver & 3 wood, ping putter, Taylormade tour response ball. Cool to see someone actually play well with them.
At least you know it's not the equipment now 🤣

*watching grant drive the ball**
Me “wow, striped it”
Grant “that was not a good shot but ..”
Really enjoyed this one and just how positive and how much fun you had when there was zero pressure. Awesome round
Great round Grant. Bad holes happen. Remember golf is 50% physical and 100% mental. LOL. Respect, love watching you and the boys golf. Shout out from Vancouver Island British Columbia
I like you with that Ping putter, it looks good in your hands and idk it suits your stroke pretty well. I’d look into throwing it in the bag.
I found the same thing out I’m playing a plus 3 on the lie angle and it was causing high hands. So now I just make sure when I set the club down I make sure the toe is off the ground a little which lowers my hands and I notice a huge difference.

That’s a pretty nice rental set. The last rental set I had to use was like good goods goodwill finds videos
Like Grant’s energy and enthusiasm!
Standard set of clubs with a non-standard dude and a classy swing, making golf look so damn easy!
Ive got one of those mizuno blues they do come off a little spicey nice drive sir
Your game is very solid and its obvious you need a professional fitting to complement your more refined swing. Great round!
I thought you were playing a tour response not a Callaway
This makes me feel so bad about my golf game 😂😂 stop being so good at golf grant!
Love the positive vibes GH!
I like your positive energy!
Love your sense of humor
I rock the mizuno ST190 driver and I love it! Awesome to see grant using the same driver as me and bombing it!

I just found my Callaway here in the tree’s…. Wait, what? Thought you were playing a Taylormade??? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Good shit Grant. Love the content. Good vibes!
Through Grant all things are possible
Thats the ironset im using and i lovet it 😍 bought it a few months ago
Great golf as always, Grant!! Glad you got to play the back-nine at Stevens Park-it’s way more fun than the front!
The honk at 13:04 is perfectly timed
You could play a Stableford by yourself! Lol Funny stuff Grant. As always fun to watch

I’ve used the 919 and the 921 now they’re amazing
pretty sure Grant could shoot level par with a set of broom sticks. Great Video!
That was a great round, especially with random clubs. If you had made par on that one hole you’d have finished 2 under par, but still and impressive round of golf. Love watching you play.
Thanks for giving away the ending. Lol
Pretty impressive Grant👍👍👍👍
Awesome round !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice putting Grant. Keep up the good work 👏

Great video Grant, you played well.
These videos are class! Keep them coming 🔥
Get another Mizuno fitting! Flatter JPX 921 might be it….and of course, document the session, kind of a follow up to this video, good good job! 🔥
Scavenger golf and I'm loving it. Next time play with garage sale clubs.
absolutely pure
I can see that you were playing Stevens Park in Dallas. It’s a public course owned by the city. Try and play the rest of the city owned courses. You won’t be disappointed.
Stevens! Great course
Stevens Park looks incredible
Grant yelling at the ball " sit sit!" and then snaps his fingers as if he's talking to a dog! 🤣😄
he wants the ball to grab on the green that's what the snap is for bruh
Was looking for this comment hahaha
Grant checklist....clubs, glove, tees, rangefinder, balls.....going to play golf~
Stellar play Grant. I would've used the no glove excuse 50x
I think your right on playing flatter irons. At least try it cause you were hitting those great.
Nothing like Squirreling through the air!
Great video. I really enjoyed it. I guess I don’t need to get fit after all. Haha.
*drains a birdie putt* "You like that?" hahahaha
this is such a great video, the ball scavenging is hilarious
How do you forget your golf clubs? Lol . Mind boggled. Clubs are probably next to your reeferidgerator, lol.
Maybe try to hold onto that putter 🤔😂😂 Great Vid!
Grant, how do you forget golf clubs when you go golfing, hahahaha your tees I understand alittle lol goofball.
Heck yeah, that was a lot of fun. More !
MUST OF BEEN SOME EDITING AS WAS USING A TAYLORMADE BALL THEN SAYS HE FOUND HIS CALLAWAY BALL IN TRESS AFTER BLOCKING IT RIGHT LOOKED MORE LIKE A SHANK PROPER SUSPECT
That drive was massive, I think you got a taste of what Tig does on a daily basis haha #motivation! Nice round!
When are we gonna see the good good girlfriends play a 6v6 with the good good dudes 🤔
When they all have girlfriends 😂😭
Love how you were happy to find the Tour response ball then you find “your Callaway” in the bushes… lol
I thought u found a Taylormade ball not a super soft?
I shot 80 with tayormade sim2 rented clubs when i went to las vegas; only was $50 for the rental
Grant can make any kind of clubs work.
21:25 what it's telling you is that perhaps the 221s are not the best for you man... sure look pretty but you should give the 225s a try
nice drive!
Grant you can also play “ Best Ball” by yourself 😜
Grant Bieber back at it
Grant: 180 out 4 iron, welp that didn't turn out well
Me: 🤣🤣 what grass Grant growing
That’s the Sam driver I have, it has a good launch
Hey grant can you do a video using Mizuno biggest game improvement irons. Would be sick to see you with them
I feel like you’d benefit from having a putter like that Ping with a softer face with how aggressive your stroke is. Your speed was much better with this putter!

I do my regular interlock but I run my pointer finger on my right hand down the side. It makes me feel more like I can feel the speed.
@@SithkalekGolfAndGaming Same here.. That's why I like "thinner" grips on my putter, vs those big Jumbo Max ones.. Since my index finger lays half on the grip, and half along the club shaft..
claw helps keeping the face square but usually conventional is better for feel and pace control
Phil Mickleson does the same thing. He uses claw for short putts and conventional for mid to long range putts.
Love videos like this. 👍🏻
I'm 6ft 5 and I have a 1 degree up on my iron I feel like I need to go another half a degree up I have to keep my hands to low Through The Hitting Zone

+1, with an 8 is impressive as hèłł. Great job Grant!
Lol how do you forget your clubs to go golfing? hahahaha I feel like this happens a lot for the group. lol.
Stevens Park golf course👍🏻
i like how the video starts off implying that he wanted to rent these clubs.... but 6 min in, he admits that he just strait up forgot!!! Hilarious.
