The most common IBS symptoms include changes in normal bowel movements (including constipation and diarrhea), changes in the appearance of stools, including texture and color, stomach bloating, gas and burping, abdominal pains, aches and cramps, nausea, heartburn, acid reflux, easily feeling full or the loss of appetite.
According to the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders, IBS affects between 25-45 million people in the United States alone. There is so much info in this video I'm going to have to watch it a few times, thank you! I was sceptical but I made the pumpkin soup with coconut cream it and it was amazing!
Pumpkin (pre-baked with quality salt and pepper)
    Garlic (pre-baked)
Once pumpkin and garlic are baked, spoon into a bowl and mix with coconut cream... wow! Even my hubby who isn't into "health food" loved it.
Thank you very much for this, I'm just starting to try and fix myself.

Fascinating! Probably the best video I ever watched. I took notes for my best friend who has suffered with IBS for months and I had no idea. We talked about her symptoms finally in depth and discovered it was triggered by a very stressful event after who saw two phycians, had tests done which came up negative and was told to take pepto bismal! She drinks Immodium all the time.
Thanks to you I believe she will get better and also I think all of this information can applied to every one. Can't wait to share this video with my husband and start feeling better. You guys truly blessed me today!!!

I have severe IBS years ago and I found out I was allergic and still am allergic to high fructose corn syrup. I really really believe that IBS is brought about by all the NON FOOD items that we consume as ingredients, colorants, residues of packaging etc that are irritants to our gut. When I started eating really clean and eliminating all or most sugar and ingredients in food that are man-made I began to recover and I am 90% better. Honey, peppermint, and ginger have been crucial in my recovery.

I went on the rice and fruit diet (well a variation of it) and it helped tremendously, but sadly a year later I'm starting to get some of my symptoms back. I didn't go on the diet for ibs, but it oddly helped out a lot. I think most of my stomach problems comes from the overly processed foods.

    Lots of great advice here!!!
I cured my IBS with baking soda overdose about once a week. I generally do this early in the morning, before eating. It involves gulping down 3 to 5 teaspoons of baking soda in a cup of water. Over the next hour drink 2 or 3 cups of hot coffee. Then switch to cold water. Drink as much as you can. This should induce a bowel movement followed by very watery diarrhea. (Stay close to a toilet.) You may feel nauseous while this is happening but after 2 or 3 hours you will feel fantastic--no more bloating/spasms.
At first I would do this about ever other day. But since doing it regularly it seems my gut has healed and I need to do this less often.
I used to have chronic sleep problems related to IBS. It involved spasms and RLS (restless leg syndrome). Often these symptoms would last for days or weeks. You might even say I had somewhat of a personality disorder due to the chronic lack of sleep--I lived a life of desperation. I was always on edge. It was a struggle just to feign normalcy. Now everything is easy. It's even easier to eat right because I don't have the cravings I used to have.
I should also mention that I have learned to be very aware of food additives, including citric acid. These used to induce severe episodes of bloating and spasms. Since doing the regular baking soda cleanses I am less sensitive. But I still avoid fast food and read a lot of labels in supermarkets.

Have heard advise about these foods so many times. They do not work for my IBS-d. It's inspiration, but everyone needs to find their own diet. Problem is getting off the diet, though.

Thank you for all this great information! As regards probiotics, is it true that there is not enough information to know if Bacillus coagulans is safe to use? On a site it further states that this Bacillus coagulans has not been studied in people. Can you advise on this please?

I have suffered from stomach illness for a long time. I became lactose 3 years ago. I found out on my own. I started getting sick 6 months ago, after 2 months of going to doctors i was diagnosed with Hplori. After the medication, the sickness came back, took 2 more test for Hplori they were negative. I knew my headache was coming from my stomach. Moved to a new state, new doctor( doesn’t help). I was having abdominal pain tonight, watched the first half of this video, then had some ginger.👏🏿 i cant believe the result. By the way doctors made me take HIV test 🤬 because they didn’t know my stomach issues.

Thanks for this. Even though the doctors say it's in my head and it's all stressed related. It's definitely not for me.
