Second ruling on Tinybones: Tinybones’s first ability has you draw just one card and lose just 1 life, no matter how many opponents discarded cards and no matter how many cards were discarded beyond the first Creeping Dread: At the beginning of your upkeep, each player discards a card Creeping dread doesn't draw the tiny bones player 3 cards each turn cycle, just 1 card each turn cycle. All of the opponents discard a card on the same turn.
Seth all of a sudden deciding that killing Crim and confirming 2nd place instead of letting Crim play his commander and move the some permanents around is exactly the kind of commander player logic I love
Sangromancer is definitely just innocuous enough that people seem to forget about it and then it just gains you a ton of life by other players just playing magic.
Watching the Minotaur deck go off like that was actually really impressive. Sethron seems really strong. The fact that he makes additional Minotaurs on ETB and not cast is nuts.
Tinybones: I think it's cute, because things that are small that shouldn't be small are cute. As a skeleton though, it's kinda unsettling. There's the whole "is it a kid's skeleton?" that I can't get over, even though wizards have said that no, it's not a dead child, it's just a tiny skeleton.
MTG has a lot of small creatures like kithkin and such. It would be really easy to justify Tinybones as an adult. The whole thing about using people's skeletons as soldiers though...
I like the idea of the Bail Me Out ticket floating around this season. There should be just One of those each season to keep things interesting to look out for
Seth attacking into Tomer's board while Richard has 40 more life than the rest of the table and 6 cards in hand just shows me how petty he can be sometimes.
Quite literally Richard had 40 more life than everyone else, the most cards in hand, double mana, and a way to kill the table without combat damage. The choice to kill Tomer was just bad, especially while he’s saying he was going to attack Richard instead.
Seth was in kind of a kingmaker position... Even with that huge board he couldn't do much against any of the two that were left, so he was left just to chose who would win
About the question at an hour twenty. If there are multiple replacement effects affecting damage dealt, the person who is being dealt the damage, or the person who owns the permanent being dealt damage chooses the order in which they resolve. So you would probably choose to triple the damage, then add the 2 to minimize the damage dealt.
@@123monocletophat that's my point. The person controlling torbran and fiery emancipation doesn't get to choose, the person being dealt the damage does.
If Seth is going to break the rules for wheel and you're fine with it you should either change the rules or be more strict about them. I like to watch and see what interesting alternatives you guys choose based on the budget you impose, and I feel like having random cheat cards is kinda lame
I think they should just play with whatever cards are on MTGO. Something like Wheel is just a fun card and I don't see a reason to exclude cards for budget reasons if there isn't actually a budget reason to do so. Tomer usually plays budget decks because it's his thing but they can hold up just fine against the other decks regardless. But yeah they definitely should be consistent with it.
Tomer is wrong on Creeping Dread - you draw at most 1 card using Tinybones. It's very, very bad in that kind of deck. You'd prefer something like Necrogen Mists, that says "At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player discards a card."
Sethron looked sweet! What Minotaurs lack in like ultra spikey stuff they make up for it with big aggressive bodies, keywords and ways to cheat them into play apparently
Sangromancer put real work in this game. Honestly, every game I've seen a Sangromancer in, it's been surprisingly good. I mean, life gain isn't great but Sangromancer just gains so much.
Maybe Tomer might want to revise his budget decks for Tinybones since he seems to have been under the misconception that Tinybones can draw more than one card on a turn.
Even with his colossal misunderstanding of how creepy dread works, it's still good in tinybones. You stay card neutral and everyone else goes down 1 card, in a deck that wants opponents hellbent.
@crim running like 5 or so 1 mana can trips with maybe 1 less land will help with consistency. Helps significantly to hit land drops and not get flooded by putting in a lot of 1 and 2 mana selection and draw like winged words, chart a course etc. They are also all amazing hits on kefnet as a bonus.
While it could be done with slightly more editing, constant shifts make it much harder to follow an episode and a main pov allows for people watching identifying easier, which is why shifts are only used when they're very relevant. Also means a missing camera because of technical difficulties is not that big a deal.
Seth I can't believe you, you were the second person to sign my foil one with nothing for my Neheb deck and now you are dissing my amonkhet husbando? I thought you were better than this
Day 2 of commenting until someone plays a Myr tribal deck on Commander Clash. Edit: Woah thanks for the likes glad to see I'm not the only one interested!!!
Tomer got greedy with the skullclamp by making four devils instead of tibalting and immediately drawing two, and got deservingly punished for the play.
Ive played a lot of Sangromancer in budget EDH decks. It's almost always overperforming and gaining absurd amounts of life it left in play. That is until you get to the level of EDH that life totals and creatures stop mattering as much. For most EDH players, the card is pretty bonkers great. Pair with Bolas's Citadel and Command the Dreadhorde for good effect.
This week was when the viewer submitted week was supposed to be RECORDED. Games are recorded a week in advance because editing. Mtgo is having a ton of issues this week though so the game might be delayed.
To be fair 3 of these commanders feel very crim. Red chaos card draw devils. Azorious stealin and switchin. Tiny bones discard. All three are either mean or chaos which are all very crim. Surprised though he played the blue one and i dont see counterbalance.
if you check the deck names when they were shoiwing them they actually put fine print on the budget deck names. Underneath it says it does not include the commander price because preorder prices are volatile and ridiculous. Which is hilarious
I expect those references from Doctor Anime, got to use that doctorate sometimes lol!
Hes been watching JJBA over the week. Its expected.
At 22:00 I felt the pain as Tomer tried his hardest to make crim realize what he was quoting. Good Job Tomer - You have good taste in memes
Crim the line is:
"I can't beat the **** out of you without getting closer"
Would be so cool if he actually has Time Stop in his deck.
Ho ho. Then come as close as you wish

and play time stop.

Truly, Tomer and Richard are friends. Tomer gets the Skullclamp he wanted and Richard wins the game with a deck that Tomer brewed.
Wow the straight letting richard gain 60+ life off sangro, 10 plus cards off his commander.
Okay 186 has to be a record vs no recursive combo deck.
It was 100% letting him win
But it was one the most fun I have ever had in this series, so... Worth it I guess
