    I want you to know that your videos have been amazing. You are so eloquent and well spoken and show such grace and mercy. After this video I felt empowered to leave Scentsy. I called today and ended my "subscription". That is what they called ME ... a subscription... If that doesn't say something....

    I’m with ya Mel. I love the TH-cam wax community but at the end of the day I’m here to sniff wax and enjoy the products.
    I don’t relate much with the actual Scentsy community outside of the fact that we all love the products. It doesn’t need to be my “family”, I have a family.
    And it’s wonderful that some folks do find those family like supportive connections - that’s excellent and should be celebrated. But that doesn’t mean that should be the only “right” way to do Scentsy.

    Crying without tears. Telling people that they aren’t giving enough to “the family”. Cutting pay, going back on their word, demanding blind faith and trust when they just unveiled lies. These two personally gross me out. The curtain has been lifted and we are seeing the truth. Cult, fraud, manipulation. Gross and so sad.

    Í agree with you, Mel about the 25 percent commission! It would be like my Employer lowering my wages by 5 percent but expect me to work harder to regain my normal wage....such BS!! I'M for the wax!!!

    Excellent job keeping it unapologetically fact based Mel. I saw the crying straight out of the gate as manipulation as well so you're not alone in that thought. If they were trying to do damage control re: Dan's zoom call this was an epic fail imo. Seeing how the owners of a billion dollar company conduct themselves in a time of crisis was eye opening indeed. This whole thing gave me some serious ick and I was highly disappointed in the way they chose to address things. I can't for the life of me comprehend how they don't see that all of us lowly hobbyist consultants are the ones spending the money to keep this ship afloat... baffling. Astounding really. When you insult, demoralize, and degrade your base... well let's just see how that works out for them. I'm glad I walked away.

      @@brighthousescents8987 I’m the hobbyist too that has been her almost 4 years and I think I have because Heidi and Orville were not here. I hate the MLM thing all the way around. I do love the wax and for sure the warmers are beautiful. However, I hate their push push attitude. Listening to this makes me think about being a customer at all. I could love Candles by Victoria and my vendor wax.

    Thank you so much for sharing your reaction to this video, Melanie! I couldn’t agree more with the points you made. Thank you for pointing out that they have in fact made fairly regular changes to the cost of products, bundles, and shipping when they tried to claim that this was the first change they were making in years due to inflation. This video did little to reassure me that I am valued as a “hobby” consultant and it did little to explain why they decided to go back on the “lifetime” 25% commission. Being told that you’re not entitled to the reasoning or smart enough to understand it left a bad taste in my mouth.

      @@Carrie_F if they had approached it expressing their appreciation and value for the Hobby consultant and asked us to help push sales up a little, I bet we all would have happily done so. Problem solved. It’s really too bad that they didn’t think it through and try to include us in the process.

      @@brighthousescents8987 I’m wondering what they consider a hobbyist. Are they going by dollar amount spent? Or by amount of parties you have ( I have 1 to zero lol) or by people you sponsor….. I have zero
      I feel like you have spent more than enough to not be considered a hobbyist to them. And I think you promote and have given so many reasons to others to purchase…. So I feel like they value you. But at the end of the day…. They should value customers just as much if not more. And a hobbyist is a customer. It’s guarantees sales for them….. they failed to see the big picture.
      If I stop being a consultant…. And I stopped engaging in watching videos from consultants who are so good at them…. Then out of sight out of mind right.

    Im anti-mlm now based on thr business structure but back in the day i had a wax warmer and thought scentsy was a nice and fun product to get into and try. I think they want all yall hobbyists to pay full price instead of being able to "join to get a discount." If you aint selling and recruiting, bye. Good luck, i like your last few videos and i totally get why your scentsy experience hasnt been like, a typical mlm experience and why you're questioning it now. I think your attitude is as positive as possible in light of these new directives and changes!

    I was a consultant that let it go as of Feb 1 but I had made the decision to not continue before these changes happened anyway. I have been a hobbyist and have a FT job like you. Only in it for my own love of the wax. You and many other YTers give Scentsy FREE advertising. I depended your reviews in how I purchased over the years as well. I will mainly use small vendor wax companies going forward to support. The whole situation that happened with Lacey and how they put that out was the first sign for me things were going down and now this. I have always seen your channel as extremely positive and still do. You speak the truth! Also not drinking the Koolaid. 🙋🏽‍♀️

    Thank you so much for this video. I am a “Hobbyist” consultant too, and I became one because I loved the product! I watched this Live on Friday night (and the fact that they started 10 minutes LATE rubbed me wrong-this was not the time to be late in my opinion), and I think I was overwhelmed by all that I was trying to take in at that time. This was the first Live that I had watched Heidi and Orville do without Dan(I became a consultant while they were gone), and for me it was VERY different than the EOM Lives that I was used to. I actually can say that it gave me the “Ick” feeling…and I don’t like that. I appreciate how you broke it all down, as it validated the feelings I had when I watched it myself but felt I was alone in feeling. Also, not once did I feel like you were being negative-you were fair, concise and honest, and that is why I appreciate your videos!

    Great video Mel. I am a hobbyist consultant and love the Scentsy wax and warmers.
    I struggle with the changes, specifically the 25% for life being taken away. Is that even legal?? Why bother with “contracts” if they can just change things?
    The EOM video was a mess. He was condescending, she was too emotional. They were unprofessional and very, very unprepared. They really didn’t seem to care much about the products they were showing!
    I might “bless and release”.

    Ooopfffhh that EOM live felt like an accusation that hobbyists are taking from the company and not giving back…. It was a wee bit aggressive in some parts. And I have also fallen down the anti MLM rabbit hole. What a shift for a lot of hobby consultants. We don’t really pay attention to those “ick things” but it’s getting harder to deny them. Also, you did a phenomenal job on this reaction, caring and thoughtful when reacting to the real sentiments of relationships but also calling out the POSSIBLE manipulation. Bravo.

    Do they not realize that Scentsy is a WANT NOT A NEED?!?! How much “harm” can not having a certain WAX WARMER to do a human?! While people in California and North Carolina lost EVERYTHING!!! I can’t with these fools (Heidi and her goober husband). If someone is distraught about not having wax and warmers they need a serious medical examination

      Yep, what I heard was --- we want you hobbyists to stop being consultants, but instead just become customers of the elite consultants, this way they continue to make the money, and maybe then you can be eligible for an LTO. NO THANKS, I'd rather just stop being a customer completely and spend my money elsewhere. I may like your product, but not enough to give up my values.

      @ That’s exactly how I feel. I am saddened by the loss of my hobby and favorite wax scents due to no choice but to stick by my values and core principles. I won’t support these people, the elite within it or their condescending behavior. There are plenty of other options out there, thanks to vendors and retail stores, both are more than happy to take my peon money! The audacity of them to speak like that to anyone…all arrogance and ego based. They can all flip off….without anymore of my money 😉 If I wasn’t always mindful of never taking money for granted or the things I am able to purchase from hard work, I’d throw every single Scentsy product I own, in the garbage!!! I’m THAT disgusted and disappointed in the entire company.

    After 6 years I decided to no longer be a consultant as of Feb 1st. Multiple communications (such as this one) have confirmed I made the right decision. I do not plan on being a customer from this point forward either. They are slimy and I don't want to give them any more of my "hobbyist" money. I actually am in the process of clearing their warmers from my house as we speak. I will replace with lamps and nightlights...at least those won't piss me off every time I look at them. I will give my money to small, local candle companies where I actually do feel valued as a customer!

      If you are looking for a good small business Candles by Victoria has some really good Scentsy like scents that can take over for what scents I will miss. I don’t care for this company at this point.

    I watched live coverage on another channel (Julie Anderson) and honestly, I find this couple so icky.... I feel embarrassed for them. I am so happy I have nothing to do with them anymore. I feel sad for all those people who idolize them and fawn over their every word. STOP! STOP STOP!!!!! What I hate most is that I like the products, but I'd be fine without them.     Whew this live was a hot mess and it makes me glad that I made the decision to walk away. The rollout of this was and continues to be horrible! I love that you did a side by side which allowed me to hear what they said as well as your commentary. It was awesome!

    I am anti-mlm and found your content when you had your first video on the changes. You are an amazing soul and even though I will not purchase Scentsy through I enjoy your light.
    I hope you decide to expand your purchasing of wax and not give these two anymore of your money. You work hard for this pleasure in your life and it should go to those who deserve it more. I'm sure you can find a small business at a craft fair that can provide the same experience but would benefit them greatly.

    As soon as I make that call, and part ways with this company, I we'll be free to sale any stock that I have on the resale Market.
    I do agree that they have an amazing product, but now it's just an embarrassment to be associated with a company that would do these things.
    I have seen little things all along, and I think this is part of the problem. They get away with the little things, and then when they start dropping this kind of thing on people, they expect to get away with this as well.
    I feel like they have definitely drawn A Line in the Sand, and I know which side of the line I stand on!

    I don't think there's been a word you said that I did not agree with. You totally nailed it. There is no excuse, how can we trust someone who broke a promise..."25% for life" Nah, we changed our mind. And I'm sorry, he dismissed 1000s of consultants 5% as if it just vanishes from the books, no, it goes into Scentsy's pockets. If they are hurting and that's the reason ADMIT IT, don't think we're idiots. That's a lot of money across the board

    I'm not a consultant, but almost signed up a few times over the last year simply to get a discount, not for community! 😂😂😂
    I have a community here where I live, I don't need a scentsy community. Lol
    I've decided against becoming a consultant because of the MLM model and the way they run their business. Its incredibly manipulative. Now I struggle with, do I still buy their wax? I need to really think about it.
    I definitely know it will be less. I will support more vendors this year.
    But if I'm being honest I have to say it will be hard because I do enjoy their wax.
    Mel u are not negative at all. You are bubbly and u have a fun, joyful personality. Thanks for your honesty. This video is eye opening and I'll definitely have to think before or if I ever purchase from them again.
    Hope you keep doing videos onnyour channel. I enjoy all your content!!!

    I've really dipped my toes in the vendor wax this year and I just love the variety and the fact that we can support small businesses. ❤

    Oh Mel…. By community I stay because of all the friends I’ve made through TH-cam…. That community holds my heart! My upline community, not so much. Mine has tried but she ghosts me so much that it’s a complete turn off. She has lovely training videos but once I had to turn around because the weather was a snow storm and sent her video on why I wasn’t going to make an event and she ghosted me and I thought to myself, you don’t genuinely care about me or my safety. You’ll answer questions with questions and I’m so over this ghostly tough love that I’m done. I stopped participating. So when Orville says community, I feel like my fellow TH-cam creators and commenting friends are my community I love and holds me! ❤😊

    The theme of their video is the hobbyists made us do it. 🙄 I refuse to be a scapegoat for loving their product and not being a high pressure salesman. I agree with one thing they said though…it’s time to bless and release them from my wallet.

    and the whiff boxes went up. The fragrance flowers went up. The laundry whiffs tub went up… I can go on. I have been a Scentsy consultant for 3 years as a hobbiest. But with these changes my antennas are going up and I’m questioning what’s going on. We will see. I’m sticking to it for now, but time will tell.

    Scentsy needs some new leadership at the top. I was struck by how long it took those two to say so little.
    I'm a Scentsy customer. I'm peeved by the new message they've added after you place an order, It says something like "you could've saved $X.XX on this order if you were a consultant." It makes me feel a dummy, like I paid too much. Who in Scentsy thought it was a good idea to basically point out to every customer who places an order that they've just been ripped-off because they're not a consultant? But most people just want to buy wax at a good price, not start a business selling wax. All this will do is encourage more people to sign up just for the discount, and Scentsy will end up with even more "hobbyist" consultants. But in their video they seem upset that "hobbyists" are causing their LTO's to sell out before their "real" consultants can order them. Not sure what Scentsy is trying to accomplish here.
    IMHO it's time for Scentsy to move into the 21st century and eliminate their consultants. Let people buy direct from their website or in retail stores like Target or WalMart. I think they would make more money in the long run. Their wax bars are better than what's currently sold in WalMart now.

    Thanks for the video. I’m also a hobbiest consultant and I will not be signing the new contract. They could not have done this roll out of announcements any worst. I do still plan to keep my clubs but I’m slowly cutting back on them. I will be spending my money on small business.

    I love that you did this video! I completely agree with you on the opinions about this zoom. I only got into scentsy because of the product. And when i was offered to get a discount by signing up to be a consultant, I thought, why not get some of the money I'm already spending back. I recently deleted all of my videos because they were all scentsy related. I'm not going to advertise/promote their products. Even though i think it's a great product and love it. I think that there's alot of manipulation happening here. I believe this really has put alot of people in a tough place including myself because the product is fantastic, but this is just so icky. And at least for myself I can't just ignore that. So i really don't know what i will be doing going forward with my purchases. I know that I'm not going to be signing the new consultant agreement. And like i said in your other video, I canceled my club and website.

    As a hobbyist consultant - I agree with you 100% - I am going to stop my website and for now continue buying wax but it will be far less than it used to be - it's hard to step away as a consumer - been one since the Grace Adele bags *sigh* but I have been into vendor wax and candles even longer - so I can substitute if needed

    This was my first time watching a video by them (live). Orville came across to me as a narcissistic jerk. They (both) really turned me off. And when they went on about the releases, they were SO unorganized, didn't have the right plug ins, didn't have all the products and didn't even know scent notes, etc. That shows me that they don't care about their product enough to know what's going on within their company. How can you own and promote a company and not even know what you're selling?!?! How can you lead a company and not be prepared for a scheduled live? Their video was a train wreck and very disrespectful!!! I am a hobbiest also and won't be putting anymore of my hard earned money in their bank accounts.

    Wow. That was the biggest pile of crap I've ever heard from an executive. They are evading giving giving accurate explanations by outright lying, being condescending and spouting a lot of BS. Claiming people just don't have the comprehension or "chess skills" to fully understand why they are breeching contracts, taking cash from others, which does go to them, and by complaining is a character flaw of those having the money taken is reprehensible. To share a view that some customers deserve LTOs more than other customers based on how much money their consultant makes for them is one of the most stupid statements I have ever heard a business owner say aloud. They certainly haven't discussed their business plans or that broadcast with their attorneys or public relations team. Of all the ways they could have handled this issue, they chose the most ridiculously stupid way to do so with that video. You are not "negative". You are just a thinking adult with common sense.

    Great video Mel. I actually watched the live in full yesterday on your channel. I do usually watch the EOM lives on Facebook-even though I am not a consultant. I did start to watch the live replay on FB-when Heidi started talking about how much bigger her face was than Orville’s-I was losing interest, because in my perspective she started the video off making it about herself. When Heidi started crying, I just fast forwarded to see sneak peaks of what is coming later to Scentsy. I am a very sympathetic person, & I don’t condone what was done to her, but what does that have to do with what this EOM is supposed to be about. I checked out right then & there. They went on to talk about all the things that they have done in the past to try & make themselves & others feel better about the changes that they are doing now. Didn’t work for me. When I watched the first live with them & Dan-I was like Eww, just go away again. The sales pushing started, and the whole vibe was completely different. My first impression of Orville was that he is controlling, & I always trust my instincts. So many lies on this, and how many hobbyist consultants spend a ton of money 💰. They are just so out of touch with reality in so many ways. I buy Scentsy because I like the product-bottom line, end of story. The whole family thing with them cracks me up. The bottom line is that Scentsy is a business, and they don’t give a shit about the little people-that at the end of the day, made them who they are today. Lies about not making changes-warmers went up, washer whiffs went up, regular bars went up, etc.-DO THEY EVEN REALLY KNOW THE CHANGES THAT HAVE BEEN MADE WHEN THEY WERE GONE 😂. You promote Scentsy with every video you make with a Scentsy product. You are by no means negative, and I love your happy, energetic and enthusiastic content. You are so correct on your thoughts of the video. At the end of the day, they both believe their lies-I hope that makes sense. This could be a novel, but I have to end somewhere.

    Hi Melanie, You are not wrong in how you feel about what you heard from that video. I do not spend as much as you do ... LOL. but I do spend waaay too much. I wonder how it will affect their bottom line when a number of us stop being consultants entirely! I love their wax, but honestly, I am thinking very hard about this situation, and my take is coming very close to just calling it quits. That video call you shared may have put me over the top. I just heard so much BS from them both. BTW.. the arrows point directly in toward them, we don't count! I hope the kool-aid drinker consultants keep them afloat, because we the hobbyist big spenders just may be pulling the plug of our "contributions" to their ability to cruise and jet all over the world.

    Mel, I love your videos. I was so disappointed in the end of month video, we all knew there were changes coming and would have liked them to be discussed and maybe defended in a more professional manner. like many others who commented, I’m a hobbyist and joined mostly for the discounts, doing during Covid because between Covid and my husband‘s health issues I’m stuck at home a lot. I love the product and my up line, who was my consultant pointed out that with my orders and orders I help other people make I would come out way better if I joined. they should have let somebody else do the video, Dan would’ve done a much better job. Maybe they’ve been away too long and needed to ease into things because they’ve been out of the business for a while. I like knowing what’s coming, I like sampling fragrances and having info about upcoming sales, etc. I like sharing fragrances with other people who also like them. I’ve been a consultant a little over two years and so far I’ve been active every month, but sometimes it’s kind of close. moving it up 50 more dollars may make it a little closer. Probably won’t be a big issue for me and I’m sure that the 20% thing is cost-cutting issue. Really never got a good explanation though about the change in the buy five bars get one free. doesn’t make sense that you can offer it if a Consultant place the order on the workstation, but not on the website. Seems like you should either offer it or not. It’s an extra bother for people who I contact in lots of other ways about products and the best deals, but who may shop when it’s convenient for them. An extra hurdle that they may choose not to jump through and because they don’t they’re going to pay more. they really need to fade into the background and let some of the other people who been running the company continue to do it apparently.

    When discussing "first dibs" and gaining insight into the mindsets of these two individuals, it appears they want to control the merchandise and may have already examined it. Conceivably, they are already influencing the QUEUE system to allow top earners to enter THE SITE sooner based on their sales, especially during sales events. This is just my opinion, but it’s a possibility. Trust is not automatic. It's earned.

    I think the 25% commission cut is so devastating. My consultant depends on her business so she doesn’t have to go on disability… it’s a wage change, I would quit if my wage changed to be 5% less. Instead of empowering her through inflation, etc it is making her work even harder to do what she has already been doing.
    This couple has always had likened the company to a l family, but who would treat their family this way?

    Totally agree- I joined as a consultant with a random person just to get the discounts. I don’t need or want to be part of the Scentsy community - I just love good smells and discounts. I have never recruited and never will- that’s just not me . If I could get the wide variety of scents from anywhere other than Scentsy here in Australia I would do it in a heart beat 😂

    Re: emotional manipulation. I felt similar to the entire beginning of the video. It feels like they are trying to make all those who are not happy and speaking out seem to be in the same group as those "who can only hate" and an example of those whom send hate mail. That is an emotional manipulation if intentional. It does seem very intentional because the opening statements and Heidi's story about an event 3 years ago are all completely irrelevant to current topics. Doing that who make unhappy consultants question their own feelings, as well as making others see them as just "haters".

    I love scentsy products, it’s why I joined too. It would do SO well in a simple drop ship warehouse type situation and dissolve all the upline mlm nonsense. The products would sell themselves but it sure wouldn’t make them as much money.

    IMO (don't get me wrong I absolutely love Scentsy... I suffer from so many intolerances and allergies and I've zero issues with Scentsy so I will use the products for life) it felt like they were gaslighting us... or they were "oversharing" trying to convince us that we are their top priority... almost trying justify their mistakes were for the good or something.
    We are told it's our "business". We forget they are a Corporation and that we are just the contractors. They literally could stop having consultants and just open stores and would still be coining it.
    I was interested to watch the video, but for me... I'm just going to continue to exist and continue and share the products. I'm not going to get all wrapped up in the politics of Scentsy. Just going to stay home and be happy with my fragrances :)

    Awesome video Mel! It was thoughtful, fact based and I did not find it negative. I have always felt when this news first came out that it was to get rid of the hobbyists of which I am. And the overlying issue that has bothered me sooo much is why is a difference of opinion or a conversation challenging whatever, seen as negative, not a team player.
    1) I did feel the manipulation with all the crying. I am sorry for the loss of anyone's mother. I have lost my own. But between that and the hateful note, it had nothing to do with the video. I also didn't care for Orville calling Heidi a cry baby. Whatever I feel about the crying, I found that comment insensitive coming from a husband. 2) If someone is looking at this as a business, you probably do need to form relationships with customers in order to make any money but I don't have relationships with anyone on my "TEAM" and I'm not a seller or a pusher of things. 3) I agree with everything you said about changes. They make changes if not every catalog season, at least once a year. Some hurt a little more than others. 4) Trusting someone blindly ....In 2025 and way before, I don't do that with anyone. Why does everything feel like a secret. If I'm running my own business, which I'm not, why am I only on a "need to know basis?" To me that sounds cultish. 5) If I were a PR person, I would be watching them covering my eyes. I don't thing they have a PR person along with proof reader for all there printed material especially their catalogs and brochures which seem to almost always have typos or incorrect information in them! 6) I did hear it as we are going to give priority to those who sell more product for the LTO's. Not sure how they will police that, but....
    I still don't know what I'm going to do yet. It all bothers me and it takes up too much space in my brain lately. I think taking the bundle and save of the bars is ridiculous but their looking for people to make more contact with customers and I'm looking at it as I have this product, here is my website, any questions I would be happy to answer, help you to navigate the site if you need it, I can show you were to go to save some money. I've never reached 2000 PRV in a month in the 6 years I have been a part of Scentsy so 2500 is definitely not happening. I'm bothered by the the principal of it all more than anything else. They promised 25% for life after the initial 1000 PRV and now they are taking it away. I think that's wrong.

    I reinstated 5 years ago and my sales have reached 125,000.00. And for real I get dropped to 20%. I really am not wanting to resign with Scentsy. I am for sure thinking it may be time to bow out gracefully here. .

    I’m also a hobbyist and the way they are treating us is just terrible. Do they not realize that most of their business is us hobbyists “who aren’t contributing enough” - so if we all leave - they truly believe our up-lines will make up the sales with connections to consumers??? Good luck with that Scentsy. Sorry but the whole LTO thing and them saying some people only purchase when there is a much anticipated launch and how that isn’t good enough- for real? What retailer isn’t grateful for all types of sales??? It’s absolutely absurd.

    Ok as an outsider looking in - first 5 mins...
    These are not reps learning to go live; these are CEOs, surely an EOM call should be supported by corporate, should have that professional tech support. Not the oops my computer is not playing so here we are on the cell phone. And they admit to past issues like this too. PS I get that phone defaults to portrait - but can turn phone and raise up so can see both of them, without him having to lean in. Oh and can flip the camera so that not getting it all in mirror image.
    If people don't love you they can go find someone else to love 'if they have the capacity to love' - What?? If I had joined during their absence and this was my first encounter with these as owners/CEOs , particularly after the comp plan changes, I would be expecting a business focused conversation about the changes; how they expect those to impact/rescue the company.
    But suddenly from nowhere we get love vs haters - and agree that anonymous hate letters are always bad, but - it was 3 years ago that she received that letter is before they went on their 3 yr Mormon mission. If it still hurts as raw as her tears suggest then not really processed the experience or ... she is bringing it up deliberately.

    Wow you've made such a huge decision! Good for you! I agree Scentsy's behavior as a "business" is unacceptable. So many companies have an amazing product and there is no reason to keep spending our money with people like this. Heidi and Orville come across as manipulative, narcissistic individuals who want you to believe how amazing and altruistic they are. And if you don't believe them, it's slander! 😮 Defensive much? I feel bad for the consultants that are so wrapped up in this because it seems like an abusive relationship. Hopefully Scentsy will get sold to people with proper values as the product is great but I won't spend a penny more until then.

    You are not wrong or negative Melanie. I agree 100% with what you are saying especially with them taking the 5% away if we are under the 200 prv 1 month at maybe 100 prv, but have 300 the next month and at year end we've had 2400 or more prv that year we deserve that 5%. This EOM is making me even more torn whether to stay or go with Scentsy I definitely have 1 foot out the door. I love Scentsy products but I have no attachment to the "Scentsy Family" or any plans to recruit. I have never heard from my sponsor or anybody in my upline. My "Scentsy Family/Community" is the You Tubers. I love watching everyone's videos and interacting on what everone is melting and loving and not loving.
    It may now be more vendor wax reviews just wish we had more vendors in Canada if you can suggest any thanks.

    The whole source video felt very stereotypical "Mormon" PR to me. You should be giving to the community/church. Trust the leaders/bishops to know the end game, they are smarter than you. If you aren't working for the benefit of the business/church then you are a bad person. We don't have to keep our promises if it is to the benefit of the business/church to change our mind. To me it feels like they have forgotten that they are not on their 3 year mission any more and they need to connect with people that are part of the outside world. I hope the hobbyists and end users of the product succeed in finding alternative products. Maybe even blend 1 or 2 bars of a different product to mimic the scents they used to buy from Scentsy, put that up on youtube and come out financially ahead then they did with the MLM.

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I’m a cryer, so I can’t judge Heidi on that, but I really question why she would share this story about the letter unless it was to gain sympathy. They were CEO’s of a multi million dollar company and it seems childish to share this. I stumbled on a comment of her last week where she replied to someone and told the same story. Thought it was weird when I read her telling this story, too. This was a very uncomfortable live EOD. I know who my SSD is and she’s my direct upline. She totally leaves me alone and knows I only signed up for the discount and I appreciate that. I have no desire to be part of the Scentsy community or attend any in person events. I likely will continue just for my own purchases

    I felt this video was rude and condescending to consultants that are not the upper echelon of the pyramid! I have been reevaluating what I am going to do in the near future! I was already on the fence prior, but this video will most likely seal the deal for me! And what drew me in was the wax! I thought I could make a little extra money on the purchases that I was already making!

    I absolutely agree 100% with you but their video was cringe absolute cringe . I Love Scentsy Products but their video and how they spoke to consultants, I had to tune out in 10 minutes in so I am watching with you. Soon as I started to see some calling them "Mom & Dad" I was out. Sorry not Sorry... Still watching it's painful

    A hobbyist consultant is a customer!!! Why should any other customer be considered more or less valuable. If not for you all, they would not be in business.
    I don’t buy from Scentsy because I can’t stand the manipulation tactics MLMs use. I don’t blame you one bit for being upset.

    Thanks for sharing & for your thoughts (let's me know I'm not alone in mine). 😂 2 years ago I started using vendor wax, but discovered I'm sensitive to soy (wax), which most use. Then I started making my own. It's expensive looking for the perfect fragrance oils. But, once you find them, you "can" make the equivalent of 6 bars for the cost of one. But, raw material prices keep going up too. Just for my own needs, for certain scents Scentsy is the way to go. I was ready to suck it up with the -5%. But, with how the owner's view us "hobbyists" (which they created, pushing for us to sign up), I feel like I'm selling my soul to the devil using their wax. 😢
    As a "hobbyist" consultant, that primarily places Club orders, I'll follow O & H's lead by ignoring the details (what they say) and self-interpret (how I see fit). The -5% is roughly 27 cents (USD) more per bar. I'm not going to quit over that. This is a business to them, and I'm a cost conscious consumer. I still think it was wrong to change that 25%, and changes to bundling are idiotic at best.

      ​@@brighthousescents8987 I'm actually reconsidering my stance. IF prices simply went up 5%, I'd have no problem continuing. But, that's not what happened. Instead of being thankful for their customer consultants, they basically called us losers and told us to step up or step down. Then, they "kicked" us and made it even harder to step up. I'm seriously thinking about NOT signing the new agreement. For one, Agreements mean nothing when they can change them. Secondly, I strongly feel staying encourages that kind of "abuse". I'll likely keep my Club going for my favorites, until I can find replacements. Best wishes to you & Everybody! ❤

    I will happily no longer purchase their LTO's any more. Too many coming out any way and half the bars in them aren't that good. Clearly they don't want the hobbyists money so I will stop spending it there. Time to try some Canadian vendors which I have never done before. I don't mind chopping candles or using candle lamps in place of Scentsy either. This entire month end was cringey and he clearly has no appreciation for the lowly peasants that spend their hard earned dollars with Scentsy.

      Yes!! You need to try melting memories wax!! She is a Canadian vendor in Toronto. Her wax is fabulous! She has a TH-cam channel and a Facebook page. She actually has duped a couple of scentsy scents and plans to dupe more. She is incredible!!

      @KiaraLemmone I've only purchased from 2 vendors. It seems a lot of them do pre orders, but afterward, some also have an RTS (ready to ship). I actually don't mind the pre orders. The time goes by very quickly, and u can pre plan your order and nothing sells out which is fantastic!!

      @ agreed…I’m so offended with the taking more than we give statements. I hit 10K lifetime PRV just by myself in maybe 3 years. I operate the same as you. That’s a LOT of money out of my pocket and I’m taking too much?!?! 🤯 Patricia Gaetz has great empties video on non-Scentsy wax. I’m going to view a few to get some ideas.

    Orville is a master manipulator and rude to his wife. I can’t imagine what it is like at home.
    Heidi cries for two reasons: insecurity and manipulation. I think their marriage is unbalanced and he shows no empathy for her.
    Very hard to watch.
