When I lived socially as a man I was completely unhappy (gender dysphoria) which caused other symptoms such as anxiety and depression. And when I mean unhappy, I mean completely full of rage and even verbally and emotionally abusive. Science has not figured out a way to change the mind. There is no medicine or therapy to cure gender dysphoria. So science says if we can't change the mind to match the body, we'll change the body to match the mind. Thus...all the bad symptoms go away and I feel normal, happy, and at peace.

There is money to be made so it seems unlikely. It would have been far more helpful to just recommend no medical treatment at all under any circumstances for children under 18, who can never give their informed consent. It is also questionable whether so-called adults, over 18, can do this either. It needs to be seen as a mental health condition, needing psychological or psychiatric therapy.

I will have to read it in detail but CASS is against this prescribing of puberty blockers and setting children on a track of irreversible change when they cannot give informed consent. The idea being that the delay will actually give time for natal hormones to kick in and do their intended job plus allow the brain development required to actually make those decisions: contrast that with the trans zealotry which wanted ‘catch’ kids before puberty.
