People seem to struggle with what woke means and really, it seems to me that it means being kind and considerate to others.

Umbrella term for individuals who are engrossed by social justice and think of themselves as saviours with a moral high ground but remain willfully ignorant of the irrationality of their claims and the problems they create.
It also means having a rigid ideology which denies anyone who doesn't agree with them any rights or freedom of speech and, instead, labels everyone who challenges their woke narrative as far right, racist, or having some kind of phobia. That doesn't really sound kind or considerate to me.
