Pocket change is not a literal term. I mean it could be from a bank roll, change, or another source other than buying it from a coin store or coin show
I have uncirculated rolls of all four designs in P, D, and S from back when I sold sets on eBay in 2009-10. This makes me want to go and check what’s left for high quality ones. I need money!
I'd say hold onto them due to the low mintage that year, and that goes for quarters, nickels, and dimes as well. Who knows, maybe 50 years from now, they all might be worth a little more than face.
I have recently gotten back into collecting coins. After cracking open my safe, I have realized my childhood obsession with old coins, and the fact I kept them all these years might have some insane monetary value. I ordered a coin microscope and scale. I may be sending you some pictures to get an opinion. I've never sent anything off for grading, but I discovered in research that if anything is of substantial value, it may be worth the cost of grading it. I don't have Instagram. Are there any other platforms that you receive pictures from your subscribers? I really appreciate and enjoy your videos. You have taught me a lot!
I have a few rolls. I think they are all Lincoln reading a book. I call it the sittin’ sh*ttin’penny. I guess I have a few hundred thousand dollars in my closet. On a serious note, should I dare open one?
@@martinphilip8998 lol I think if we all sent our closet stash in the price would drop to nothing. The winner would be the grading service . But I sure would love to walk into the truck dealership with a few rolls and drive off in a new truck 🚚 😁
@@dand3329 LOL. When I watch these I imagine myself just pulling into the bank and exchanging for a million bucks. I bought my rolls because I was a grade school teacher and would give them to kids on Lincoln’s birthday. I’m in Illinois. A first grade teacher laughed when she heard my presentation. “Each of you will receive a unique medallion featuring the likeness of our 16th president. Each one is worth a hundredth of a dollar.” The kids were wide eyed hearing that!
Hi silver picker do you know if whatnot checks all the sellers there if they sell real silver and not fakes?!! I did bought a bunch and I hope I got the real deal
When I started buying silver, testing it was some of the most fun I had. Get a scale and a cup of water, hang the coins in to check their specific gravity. Make a magnet slide to run them down. Ring them and check the tone of the sound. Etc.
I have a ton of strike error wheat pennies... Star notes and a few other things. I have had offers from 20 to 500 dollars on the same coin. If there's anyway you could send me in the right direction to sell these or find the correct value? I feel overwhelmed and can't seem to find an honest opinion.
I've got numerous rolls I got from the bank when they came out. Still in the original rolls😀. Great vid. Just subbed👍👍👍
You'll never find a grade above 66 in pocket change. So silly

The problem is many of these coins SanF or Denver are rarely found on the East coast.
I have the 4 set s mint sealed but mine started toning.

I enjoyed your video.😊
I have all 4 of these coins? are they worth grading condition looks good too.
Grading modern coins like these is always a risk, but certainly can pay off big if you're lucky
Good video, just Subscribed!
I have 1 50 roll box of all 4 of these types😮
You completely overlooked the satin finish releases.
i l will defently hit you up i have a set of these and looking to find and keep more
i got 2 government rolls of... i think the formative years. are they really worth anything?
Absolutely. Take a look at eBay sold listings
Do you have to find these in circulation or are they worth the same in a proof set?
Proof coins and business strikes both have value. Depends a lot on their condition
Just signed up for whatnot using your code and didn't get the 15$....just saying. I do appreciate the advice though.
My pleasure! Enjoy whatnot :)
❇️ Enjoy your show 🌻❇️
By the sounds of these comments, I better sell mine now
