Love this series! After the first episode I just focussed on the inject cycle, gained 300 MMR and the whole game feels different - more fun. Suddenly, I can hold attacks much more comfortable. So thanks for these tips! Keep it up!
i always wondered how pro players can warp in and transfuse and use actives so fast without deselcting due to left mouse spam this was very helpful thank you !!!!!
Your channel is a pure goldmine, man. This was very useful, thanks a lot! This video was an eye opener especially the information about rapid-fire use cases. No wonder my vipers always got killed so easily. I now feel silly abducting without rapid-fire. (Low Master EU Z player here).
Nice video there, I love the fact that you have decided to be much more active on TH-cam. Thanks for your videos and keep it up! Btw, will you make some video in the future related to scouting as zerg and defending cheeses/all-ins? It would be great to see how to properly defend proxy 2, 3 or 4 rax, for example.
Wow, game changer. I knew some rapid fire stuff, but I was maybe doing half of this. If I had 5 Vipers I'd hold C, then shift (I think), then click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click to ensure that each Viper sucked twice lol. I also didn't know a 2nd button could be added to rapid fire, I think this will help my struggling Roach Hydra Viper vs Mech play =)
13:38 For reference, to update your hotkeys in game all you need to do after saving the text file is open your hotkeys to edit in-game, close that menu, and the next time you open, you should see the changes updated! Cheers.
Nov2024. Super helpful. but be careful, Lambo uses GRID hotkey. If you're using standard it will mess up your hotkeys. 10:15 he was talking about gather and hotkey A, i changed mine and my army didnt have an attack key. XD
Gutes Video.
Hello, First of all congratulations for your videos, they are what many players of different levels need. I recently discovered your channel looking for videos about hotkeys and I think this video is very good. I'm studying your Zerg Academy videos and in this one I have some doubts. I have seen that in the camera hotkeys creating and selecting camera 8 is done differently, could you tell us why? Another thing that caught my attention is to see that to create the cameras you use the middle mouse button instead of clicking on the minimap. Could you tell us how you have adjusted the mouse speed in the game to do this? I think it's faster than clicking on the minimap, what do you think? Regarding rapid fire, as I was able to find out in the Ducky ONE Dip 4 manuals, it is equivalent to x8 in Autorepeatdelay and Autorepeatrate. After watching the SortOf video you linked I saw that the Autorepeatdelay is usually set to 1000. This means that 1000:8 would give us a value to put in the windows configuration of 125, as SortOf indicates in its video. However, it has happened to me like other people who have commented, I repeated many keystrokes without unintentionally as I was used to typing more slowly. After several tests I have put Autorepeatdelay value at 250, which is equivalent to x4 and is better suited to my current rhythm, perhaps 200 (x6) may be another option later as I gain more speed. I only mention it for other players who try to modify this and the same thing happens to them. I have heard that some players use a control group for creep expansion, I instead click on the minimap to go where it is, what mechanic do you think is best for this? The use of the gather hotkey has been the star point of the video for me. I remember a player losing a game in Dreamhack tournament because of a right click on a drone that was collecting instead of the patch. About 7 workers followed the other without collecting anything. This meant losing the game to the player because he took a long time to see it. It's an ultra-safe mechanic for mining and I found it fantastic, although it took me a while to understand what you were explaining, like when you talk about using that key to group workers in an ore patch to prevent them from being attacked simultaneously by several fanatics, for example. After thinking for a long time about what you were saying and what was seen in the video, I understood it. TRUE? Finally, I would like to ask you what mechanics you use to add troops to your army, if you do it directly from the egg or in some other way. Do you use a location hotkey for army? I have compiled the essential information of the video in a document in Spanish in case it is of interest to some people who see the video. docs.google.com/document/d/1AcR_m5cOQWDr1zbxiuaGAn8ozWuWWb8x/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=117730628629174118899&rtpof=true&sd=true Thaks
Hi man, could you help me please with this issue?: When I set my hotkeys for Grid, all races change options just disappear. So how do I use Grid and also change my baneling explosion to not be on Y? :D I don't get it. Thanks for answer. Btw, the video is pretty useful :) (y)
You sadly have to manually change every single hotkey to the grid version and then change the baneling explosion one to whatever you want. You sadly can't change single hotkeys from grid :(
The way you say "Lambo here." could stop a crying child and cure cancer because of how soothing it sounds.

This tips are actually amazing. This is the Zerg content we needed
Lambo is making insane amount of videos, and that's great!
For me, these conents are the best things to happen for SC2 in a long time. Thanks Lambo!
F2 is the select-all-army hotkey ! I definitely can't play without it for the moment ;).
It's so weird how few people watch these. We've got a pro player teaching us to play here.
Did now know it is possible to setup multiple alternative keys. Thank you!
rapid fire for build hatchery can also be useful to stop 1st probe blocking your natural
i always wondered how pro players can warp in and transfuse and use actives so fast without deselcting due to left mouse spam

1:20 Hahaha, had to do the same hotkey adjustment after blowing up banes when trying to morph more of them several times :D

Hey Lambo,
I love the ZergAcademy Videos!
How do I send in a Replay for Pepega-Tuesdays?
If you're a twitch subscriber you can join the subscriber discord channel and upload your video there every Tuesday
@@macros3001 thanks a lot!
Nice, now I know how to do that very fast rapid fire thingy.
Yeah! Zerg Academy! Excellent! Like before watching!

This was a very helpful video. Thank you very much!
@LamboSC2 By making F2 and F1 camera hotkeys, what do you use for idle workers and select all army?
i use the key to the left of 1 for idle workers and don't have all army hotkeyed.
