- Heya! It's been quite a long time since I uploaded a video for you all. A lot of things have happened that delayed everything but I finally have a new upload for you all!
I moved into my base about three weeks ago and am finally starting to settle in. When I was moving to Whiteman AFB, I could barely find any videos to see what the dorms looked like and what I would be getting myself into so I figured I'd share what my dorm looks like here with those who might be PCSing here or those who are just curious.
I lied about budgeting videos starting on the first of June. Turns out the nearest bank of mine is about 45mins away from base so I'm currently looking for a good bank to transfer to out here. But, hopefully I'll be able to film budgeting videos for you all soon!
I think my room turned out pretty well, what do you guys thinks??

Quick question, did you take RAP? Or just Exodus? I’m having trouble with the RAP application
@@alannajones9461 yes I took RAP as well. Make sure when you do your application, you’re making sure your RAP start date is on a Monday as you’re only allowed one weekend on RAP.

the dorm’s doesn’t have kitchen?
They have a shared kitchen for everyone in the dorm to utilize.
Can you have over night guest?
Technically speaking, you are not allowed overnight guests unless they are also active military. So for instance, if your civilian friend or parents wanted to stay over, they are supposed to be out of the dorms by midnight.
I know it depends on the job, but how much free time do you get? do you get time to pursue hobbies outside of the air force? tia

I definitely recommend. This job can translate very well into the civilian world and you can even get your LPN by taking a test just from having this job. 👍🏼
