It was like a hybrid of the Lamy character nib that they are discontinuing. If you are not familiar, it is used for writing kanji characters etc, so I would say minimal sketching for this one. I think that if I was looking for a true fine line sketching fountain pen, I would look at a Pilot or Sailor fine or extra fine nib, as it will be a smaller line on the page.
It looks like the grip section on that Studio would be a lot less slippery than the shined-up ones on the others (including mine), which is my biggest gripe. Did you find it to slip in your grip at all?
For me so far, it has not slipped at all. It has been a very firm grip. The employee at the Lamy store in NYC said that she sold quite a few due to that fact that it wasn't slippery.
I have a couple of safari and an all-star, but no broad nibs, as if I try them with my small writing, it just ends up really messy on the paper. Thanks for watching.
My deep green fine Studio writes well. Thanks for this video. I've yet to try other Lamy nibs but heard they are easily swopeable.
Lamy nibs swap pretty easily. Here is a link to a video Lamy put out showing the process. th-cam.com/video/3e4RajMBrCQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YMnwqJjCCUaFAkoo
Great pen. Glad you are enjoying it. Subscribed.
Thanks again for the suggestion.
I love the ink colour, i am guessing with the multi directional writing it could be good for some minimal sketching.

music is a bit loud
Thanks for the feedback. So far I have learned that if there is music, it needs to be much quieter than I think.
