The jig is $100.00; the bit he's using is $50.00. Me I'd just double stick tape a scrap piece to the back of the board to make a wider support for the router and call it a day. Unless your batching out a whole lot of them, then maybe.

Doesn't look plastic, looks like that hard stuff trend uses for their mft jig. It's really hard and really durable stuff.
