I watched this and sat up all night( too hot here for sleeping) 12 empty washi tape rolls, a stack of hoarded card off cuts are now sitting ready to be die cut. I learned so much.
Many of my tapes make a complete background if l match the pattern carefully.
Some of my tapes l disliked looked very appealing once applied to the card.
The die cut washi tape card scraps make great stencils.
I need washi in my life but can now be more selective.
Thank you for another great tutorial. Coffee time!

Woohoo well done you! That sounds like great fun! I also realised the same thing that many of the tapes can make a complete pattern when laid down! Very fun

Like you, I decided I needed to use up some washi for Christmas cards - I covered a strip of card with washi, horizontally, and cut triangles of different sizes to make a forest of Christmas trees. You get more if the patterns don’t have to be a specific way up of course. Then I arranged the triangles on some snowfall papers that came from a papercraft magazine and added a few tiny gems and enamel dots. A few punched snowflakes from glitter paper scattered about. Then I glued the panels onto pre-cut cards. Thanks for your ideas. I might use the flower idea for some thank you cards - assuming I’ve been good enough for Santa to call!

I, too wanted to get on the band wagon of Washi tapes and purchased a few from Ali and Dollar stores. I wished I would have chosen the black and white pattern ones rather than solid prints and cosmic sky. I did make a card with my colors and I did not like the turnout so have been using them to secure my dies. Maybe what I will do is find some patterned black and white card stock and use the solid print washi die cut flowers on them. Card maker’s can always get an idea from another card maker! Thanks so much for getting my brain to re-think!
