Nope. Everything is in Korean. But don’t worry, if you start from level 1, the teachers will use whatever ways to make students understand. The lecture ppts are with some English/ Japanese/ Chinese … So no worries cuz I understood no Korean from the beginning as well …
Hey! Thank you for the vlog! Do you talk a lot during classes? I heard it’s mainly grammar points and homework takes up to 4 hours daily. Is it accurate for your level at least ? ❤ I’m choosing between sogang and yonsei currently ☀️
For Yonsei, each chapter went fast ( one chapter a day) so you would need to study at home. For homework, it really depends on your teacher. My friends have a lot of homework but my teachers they did not give us a lot. We do practice speaking in class but more focus on grammar that's for sure.
Thank you for this video. Would you happen to know which subway station is closest to the KLI? I know the sinchon station is closest to the main entrance to the university, but I recall it being a long walk the campus to get to the KLI which is northeast of the hospital. I see you walked to the closer entrance and am wondering if there is a closer subway station than sinchon. Thank you!
Yes. So the closest subway station is Sinchon . You will have to walk but usually people take bus to the stop 이대후문 (Ewha Womans University Back Gate). It’s 5 min walk to KLI building.
Hey, I heard they teach the classes only in Korean and not in englisch? How does that work for level 1 students? I want to take a class but I am afraid that I will not unterstand their teaching as I don’t speak Korean yet 🫣. How did that work for you?
Yes, the teachers only teach in Korean but don't worry. There are translation on ppt slides. The teachers always put their best effort to make students understand. I knew nothing and did not understand Korean at all but I still learned a lot
You need to take the placement test before the school term begins. Missing the placement test will result in automatic placement in level 1. However, during the first week of school, if you think you need to change the level, you can discuss it with your teacher.
Hi Gina, probably you won't see this but I wanted to reach out and ask how your time at Yonsei University was. I am thinking about studying abroad at Yonsei University and was wondering how your experience was? As someone coming from the US is it easy to make friends in Korea, how are the classes, the environment etc. Is it good to know some Korean before you go? Thank You
Hello, thank you for your comments. For my experience, the classes are great and the environments of Yonsei are great and its is easy to make friends since everyone just comes to this new place. However, It is difficult to make friends with local people ( for language school students ). Yes, I suggest you to at least know the Hungul (Korean alphabets) before you come
Hi! You need 6 books for 1 level? If you remember, how much did the books cost? Thank you 🥰
Hey love, jst curious which degree are you pursuing
It look like a dream study in Yonsei KLI, I was asking about Regular program but it’s too expensive and it not includes meals the cost ☹️
Yeah it’s fun.
I worked and saved money before I came to Seoul ☺️
Best 친구 ever and I’m so lucky I met you!! We still have many videos to do🫶🏻🫰🏻🇰🇷
yes let's go the best 친구
Hey!!! Are you staying in the dormitories at yonsei KLI? And for the convenience of foreign students, do the lecturers initially use English???
Nope. Everything is in Korean.

Hi❤ I’m watching you Gina❤
Hahaha thank you 🤣👍🏻
Can we choose the level we want to start? Or Do we have to do a test before being in a particular level ?
